The case seems like glossy cheap plastic. The matte case in 640XL is waaay better!

5"??? Whyyyyyy?? Finally a Lumia with exchangeable, big battery, 8MP Cam, SD-card slot, high ppi and a relatively fast chipset. But WHY on Earth do they make it that huge? The old 635's is big ennough IMO. Why are phones getting bigger and bigger?

They are betting too much on snapdragon 400 chipset.. its time to go for a better chipset as Microsoft repeating itself from lumia 630 as when it was introduced.Its like they want to finish the snapdragon 400 stock :)
I have both lumia 630 & 730... And being a dual sim 730 is slower than 630 in terms of performance ,if anyone has both u can give a test to these devices. Microsoft should really think how to bring new devices not upgrading each time.
Anyways for a new starter they are ok phones but i really suggest should wait for better chipset.

microsoft os always good, the lack of popular games do stop people from buying it. but im willing to sacrifice those games for smooth performance. lumia 640 seems to be the best low budget windows phone.

it's almost comparable to the phone that i'm using for the past 1,5 years! and mine still works quite good!
