I am using Lumia 640 XL in Pakistan for past 4 months. It is a very good quality phone. I upgraded to windows 10 with no problem. Camera, Call quality, Wifi, Battery, Display.. everything is perfect for its price. I bought it for Rs/-12000 or US$120. I am a satisfied customer.

Such lying liars on this site. Very slim and light phone. Windows 10 installed without problems. Zeiss camera is superb. The battery does last 74hours. The screen can be seen in sunlight. A bargain at just over $US100.00. Call quality excellent with AT&T. Speakers loud and clear. Goodbye to Android virus and malware. 'It is not right for Microsoft to produce a high spec low price phones to persuade people to leave android', an S5 owner stated. Only drawback is a bit complicated to use, with certain procedures, such as downloading and installing ring tones.

Other than that I do agree with you. Apart from the screen size and glance screen everything was a pretty bad experience:
1. Sluggish UI, stutters throughout the interface randomly
2. 1GB of RAM killed the phone. Opening 5 tabs in the Edge browser caused it to crash.
3. Snapdragon 400 chip can't keep up in today's world (Cortex A7?? Come on!)
4. Extremely limited Windows Store apps, and the proper, newest Facebook app doesn't support below 2GB of RAM.
5. Camera was pretty good but slow, especially when taking HDR photos which took forever to process.
Seems bad, but remember that this phone was from 2015 and remember that the price of owning one of these phones brand new is very affordable. It gets the job done but don't expect miracles.

This is the worst phone I have ever owned. It is big and heavy, the Apps are clunky and rarely work. FaceBook shuts down every time you try to read a post or upload photos. The camera is not great quality. The store never works, and you can't download any of the apps.
Will be glad to replace this phone

It happens more and more that Windows does not open apps, like whatsapp or Office Note, and I have to restart the phone. This makes the phone unreliable and NOT a pleasure to work with.

I like a lot Windows Nokia Lumia Smartphones. I had the 520, the 635, the 640 and now my favorite the Lumia 640 XL. It's a Great Device!!M

I have Microsoft 640 XL mobile.
today my problem is last night mobile charge then 4'o clock disconnect mobile in charging, but i used mob error show this.
"The device has been locked for security reasons. connect your device to a power source for at least two hours and then restart it to try again"
please solve this problem

Almost 2 years, good signal reception, good camera both front and rear, best for music, very good battery life, the problem is with the apps, just apps, lol

Hi
I don't recommend nokia 640xl because more app match for iPhone phone or android phone when you upgrade to windows 10 , the navigation is very very poor. I wish if I could have been able to refund it .Thanks
