One more thing use class 10 sd card.. Its the recommended sd card for Lumia phones...

I bought it today. I inserted sd card but I m not able to see my sd card's data and media. It says "its other files" in storege sense and files app. I thought now Microsoft has solved this kind of pathetic issues. But I proved wrong. Otherwise the device is totally superb.
Microsoft please solve this kind of issues.

i have purchased this phone june 2015. felt from the pocket front glass panel broken . went to the service center they are asking inr 7200-00 i was shocked about its cost very worst build quality worst maintanenece cost

Review of Lumia 640 XL(One month of usage):
The first impression of the mobile is Design and its name. Proudly i will say that am using "Microsoft" Lumia 640 XL. The design of phone is handy so am not feeling that it will slipery.
after one month of usage i will say that it is perfect. I am not a perfect gamer but i will play games almost 2 hours/day. The games are World cricket championship,stick cricket,Candy crush saga,3D Chess,Tekken hero,Benji Bananas. I used to play these games regularly. No heat issues while gaming and charging. While playing i used to chat with my friends via whatsapp, messenger, and other social chatting apps so that the multitasking is excellent in this phone.
So no lag at all.
Camera is excellent in the conditions of daylight(both front and back). Even zooming also very good in this phone.
I will set my reminder using Cortana. Cortana is an Excellent PA for me. It can play music for me, It can remind me, It can tell joke to me, It can Open the apps for me and etc
Excellents in this phone:
1. Battery is Good
2. Excellent touch
3. No lag
4. Screen is good to watch videos,Games and browsing
5. Excellent Camera
6. Glance Screen
7. Double Tab to Wakeup
8. Cortana (Excellent Assistant)
9. Gestures Beta (Attend the Incoming call while we move the phone to ear)
10. Offline maps(No need of internet to find the route)
11. kid's corner
12. Project my Screen
13. apps corner
14. file manager
15. Windows 10 upgrade
16. Virus free phone(No need of antivirus)
17. Battery Saver(Default)
Lacks in this phone:
1. Some limitation due to security(But i love this limitations)
2. Headset is not good

Gilbert, 21 Jul 2015Plz help , is 640xl better than s4 when it comes to battery... moreMore better then Samsung S4. Previously am used Samsung S4. After lollipop update S4 becomes un usable. It looks unstable and most of the S4 features not usable. Battery drained fastly. Then i sold my S4 then got the Lumia 640 XL. Am loving this phone.
1.Faster then S4
2. No lag
3. Battery is better
4. Screen is good to watch movies and Videos
5. Camera is better comparing to S4

Good 3G smartphone. It will not require flash sale gimmicks. It will sell on its own. The only negative aspect is the price which I feel could have been reduced by Rs2000/-.

I found its convenient and altogether different experience compare to android and IOS.
Basic windows gives you same features same like desktop , so no need to struggle much and convenient for official use too. Screen is too good. Text, font and picture quality is awsome.
In fact planning to buy "surface" in near future.
Sum of all I found more handy,convenient, neat and suitable.
