After using it for almost 7 months i strobgly recommend lumia 640xl ....good sound quality ...and last but not the least it is a microsoft lumia

After using Android,IOS & windows I just say that Windows phone is not the bad choice.It performs very well yes apps quality is poor in compare to IOS the best one in Apps quality and Android ,but overall performance is very good and I always spend quality time with Windows phone.I strongly recommend to buy Lumia devices especially 640 or 640 XL best among all Lumia divices.

RS, 02 Dec 2015was using NOte 2 was awesome compared to Lumia 640XL... i p... moreTemporary files will be delete.Its show Zero mb but after calculating the space go to tem. Files and delete it You will get more space.

was using NOte 2 was awesome compared to Lumia 640XL... i purchased in October, 2015 Lumia is like you we are in ending of stone age, unable to customize the tones, responses of the phone is pathetic and space in phone memory is eating like anything.... by default the space is 6 GB and 2 GB is remaining cannot delete temp files, etc., I am planning to go to Iphone in sometime, i dont recommend if you love gadgets. I made hell mistake to take it...

Almost all ANDROID phone after certain times of use. Sensors in the smartphone specially proximity sensor and somewhat ambient light sensor fails to respond (no prompt response).But such types of issues will never or rarely comes in Windows phone.Microsoft and Nokia never use cheap quality hardware like that of Android phone.Lumia is the quality product.

Lumia 640 XL after 6 Months It still satisfying me a loot, a great value for money product. My 640 XL encouraged me to buy one more Lumia now I have two more Lumia device Lumia one 640 and two 640 XL.So is there anything to say about Lumia device specially Lumia 640 series is the best in the market till date.I love 640 XL a great performer in all aspect.

Battery back up -good
No heating issues
Apps - all important and work related available
More of a gentleman's phone
Music output -awesome
Camera-unbelievable focus if you are into photography
Lags-somebody plz explain what that word means because since I started using Lumia smartphones I seldom o never use the word lag.

I bought this phone a secondary phone for a long business trip, where I needed dual SIM to avoid roaming data charges and as I'm not in favor of mid range Androids (usually perform very badly, I've been an iPhone user for a few years and used to snappy performance).
I must say I was very impressed and rather surprised. For the very competitive price I paid (160$ discounted price) I got a phone with a clear big screen, excellent performance, and amazing battery life .. I've been using it as my daily driver now for almost a month : the battery stays at least 1.5-2 days with heavy usage of emails, video calls to home country, and local calls, with mixed browsing and whatsapp. The native email client is excellent and at the same level with iPhone and Android, Excellent Office package, performance is amazing with no hanging issues, it was very easy to import my data by adding my google and iCloud accounts in Native windows OS -no third party apps used, clear black display is excellent, and sound quality is very good.
The things I didn't like were : very poor apps, even when you're lucky enough to find the app in the Windows store it's nothing compared to the similar app in iPhone or Android. I can see Microsoft are trying to make some effort in that area but unfortunately it's still the weakest point. Some Apps like Facebook does not refresh in properly, also some live tiles does not refresh as regular as they should be, especially the ones for news .. also Flipbaord tile does is not live! .. Dual SIM support is very good but it lacks some silly basic features like assigning a different ring tone to each line! .. the phone can be a bit bulky and could have been thinner but it's however light in weight. The black option mat finish looks cheap, colored back covers like white, blue, and orange looks much better in material quality -I got the white one trying to opt to a more neutral option for business.
I also tried to download the latest beta version of Windows 10 out of curiosity and surprisingly I was very disappointed : not only that it had lots of crashing apps and dead buttons that does not function properly -after all it's a beta version.. but it also has an identity issue compared to Windows 8.1 !! .. Windows 8.1 is all "Windows" .. it has it's own identity with squares and tiles and basic colors finish. It does not try to imitate any other OS (which is something I hated in iOS for example when they started copying Android since iOS 7 onwards) .. unfortunately Windows 10 will actually remind you of Android with some rounded designs here and there, and over loaded toggles, etc .. Things I would not prefer to see in the final version of Windows 10 .. imitation was never a key to success, be unique in your own way.
In summary : I enjoyed my windows experience, and I don't regret buying it and will keep using is a secondary phone and main while travelling.
I hope someone would find this feedback useful or at least interesting.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2015Yah..unfortunately only less than 2 person out of 100 under... moreGreat Network connectivity ,Smart Dual sim operations,fantastic Ram management,Never lag,outstanding battery backup,great viewing angle accurate colour production,Glance scree advantage,Excellent Sd card support.Like IOS Lumia phone shows name of those number in WhatsApp which was not saved in the contact list but it's not happens in Android phone,No need clear junk file cleaner and no need to install file cleaner and battery doctor apps or other security apps like cm security or 360 but such apps is the necessary for the Android phone.After One year Lumia devices running with the charm but Android going slowdown .Lumia phone having clear black display Watching full hd video is the great experience in Lumia phone especially Lumia 640 XL due to its 5"7" display.Unbeatable Office package,These are the key features of Lumia devices.Lumia drawback no multitasking,Limitations in download,Not for hard core gamer.
