The list of cons are numerous. Even my Nokia X2 was better than lumia 640XL in many aspects. Didn't expect this shit out of Microsoft. Could buy much better Android phone with this price. Just waste of my valuable money.
1. Touch: need to try several times to pull down and up the Action panel.
2. Lagging while playing games (i.e. tample run).
3. Camera in low light is awful.
4. Needs high bandwidth for browsing where as android can browse in 2G.
5. No video call option in Viber.
6. Internal storage is low. User available only 3gb out of 8.
7. Facebook is not as comfortable and rich as Android phones. Many useful features are missing.

The pros are the size and battery..that too takes 4 hours for full charging...LOL

So please think twice before buying this phone. Go in details and take your time. Do not regret afterwords.

    First active your Gmail account. Then you made possible.

      I saved my 16000 rupees by not buying this phone.
      It has worst email experience ever.
      I want to buy this phone but only after email services are full fledged like gmail on android.
      In ondows you canot add attachments while replying.
      You cannot farward email with attachmnt more thn 9 mb..lol..windows playing with users...give everything in email..i will buy it immidiately.

          2.)To Send files to Andoird

          Do the following steps
          1. turn on your "Internet Sharing" in settings
          2. Your friend(Android phone user), should turn On their WiFi
          3. Connect the WiFi into your phone's hotspot
          4. Open the Shareit on both devices
          5. Receive the files

          To Receive the Files from Android

          Do the Following steps

          1. Turn your WiFi on
          2. Both devices open shareit
          3. On your Wifi , your's friend's hotspot will shows(if not shows, then your friend should select the applce mode)
          4. Connect with your friend's hotspot
          5. Then happily share the files
          3.)Best feature us unlimited email storage in Windows phone.If ur using WiFi file via transfer you can use Shareit app ..it Works fine.With the
          Shareit app.. U can share movie with a speed of 2 mbps.


          4.)File Maneger preloaded in all Windows phone ,Use "files" file manager app to manipulate(copy,paste..) all ur media files..
          5.)AFTER Windows 10 all Android apps will be available in Windows store.Windows 10 has a lot of potential and can revive the Microsoft market in India.
          You can't download more than 100mb file by using your mobile net. You have to use Wi-Fi

            I think you never use and never see any lumia phone. Lumia phone have fole mng and have a option for attachment.

              there are some of drawbacks / loopholes of windows OS , that a couple of my friends said about that . ..

              1. - One of Major problem is there is no file manager also do not have apps.
              2. U can't do google chat through gmail in lumia phones ... if u wanna do that , u need to have a 3rd party application s/w like nimbooz ...
              3. In , gmail when u reply to anyone - u can't make any attachment with reply mail .
              4. When , software does updates, it first appears in Android - after couple of month in Win OS ... like , facebook calling , whatsapp calling
              5. Problem , in sharing file , photos through blue-tooth with different android phones .

              Gaurav , u're an expert in this area . So what the points I've mentioned - is it seriously happened or anything else ?? ...
              I'm looking for ur precious n valuable views in this matter - actually , planning to buy 640XL , so quite confuse over these issue ...

                        There are lots of Smartphones in this mobile world.But very few are the actual player who actually perform in this world's of Mobile.In Android Motorola's phone is the unbeatable other than Moto you can depend over the Most dependable series Nexus the ultimate Android smartphone.Samsung Note series is very serious about their performance.Some Chinese giants Like Mi and OnePlus smartphone prove that it's clear vision in Android phone.Asus ZenPhone series is somewhat very capable in performance.All these companies are very serious about their Smartphones business.On the other hand Microsoft with the Windows OS slowly but trying to compete with the Android market yes its too difficult task for Windows to overtake the Android market.But the truth is that Microsoft try very hard and very very serious about the it's Lumina Smartphone.I personally feel Windows is very Optimized OS and something very great in this Windows OS ,and no need to invite other manufacturers like Lava ,Micromax to make Windows phone.Microsoft will make Lumia series with the perfection and I don't think the other manufacturers like take this Windows project seriously.Even most of the manucturer is not serious about their Android phone Geonee,Yureka,Yuphoria,Lenovo latest release smartphone.Even Samsung HTC & Sony is not concentrating on their mid range segments.If you wish to use Lumia Smartphone one thing is sure each set is build with the perfection and perform very well.And such thing is not happens with the Android phone there are many Android phone which have no perfection they just made and relese their Smartphones they don't care about their performance.Yes I can say that all most all Lumia Smartphones made with the perfection and perform very well in the actual world.And is the actual truth as well as the main advantage of Microsoft Lumia Smartphones Perfection along with the Performance.

                                  Its a very below par results overall, camera ram 8gb storage ppi all are below par. Only temporary curiosty of windows 10, Just two months old warranty date eleven months left, no buyer even put it on shop fr a week. When we buy now any Mobile. Just think of using fr life, than change every year. Maybe 2020 target if batteries pull along.
