JUST SEE THE MARKET SHARE OF ANDROID AND WINDOWS. There is nothing to say any thing about windows. It will not going to compete with Android in comming ten years.

i brougt this phone before one week. the first day i tried to download candy crush saga my favourite game and it was available in the store. unfortunately until now it is not downloaded. then i tried to set a song from my sd card as ringtone. that one also doesnt work. at last i tried to make a call from the facebook messenger. wonderfull there is no option for call in the messenger as other phones.the app store is very poor and comparing to samsung or any other android phone this one is very poor. the customer is buying new phone for their own purposes, not for the mobile company. if microsoft also doing like this and not caring the customers, very soon you will loose your credibility and market like nokia, because the other phone companies are making their products with attractive features. i brought this phone and avoid other phones because only the name "microsft". i am really sad with this. you have still time to make it the best, and satisfy the users. but dont forget the market is very fast especially the smart phone market.......

Can any one tell me, that lumia 640 xl offered by flipkart is a 4g or 3g mobile?. Because they didn't mentioned about 4G at all.

Weak OS in front of IOS And Android, It fails to play Full HD Video, At this price range u will get Full HD display in Android phones . 640 & 640 XL display is very poor. Lots of aps not running perfectly on Windows OS. SOME aps lile Whatsup calling feature is not available till date, goibibo all feature didn't show in windows phone these are the disadvantages of Windows phone.

Vickey, 27 Apr 2015640 xl becoz its batry is 3000 mah and 5.7 inhes scren 13mp... moreIf you go for Windows pbone then don't think about 640 or 640 XL as the display is very poor in both 640 & 640 XL and despite of 8 mp cam in 640 & 13 mp cam. Woth Carl Zeiss lens in 640 XL they are fail to compete with 6.7 mp cam. With Carl Zeiss lens of 730 and display is just awesome. JUST GO FOR 730 IS THE BEST AMONG ALL THESE MID RANGE LUMIA DEVISES.

A ppi of 259 is more than enough at normal viewing distances for a phone. Your computer monitor likely has way less PPI than your phone. A 40" TV with a 1080p screen has just 56 ppi!
