Hello Folks.. This is my first Windows phone and trust me I am loving the experience. I have used Sony Xperia Z1, Z2, HTC M7 and LG G3 till date and none of these 3000 MAH batteries are as powerful as the Lumia 640 XL has. It works 48 hours on average use and one and half days on moderate usage. Here are some points I wish to add:
1. Build Quality is superb.
2. Camera is awesome both rear and front; however, you may find some noises at night.
3. Processor is pretty fast as per the specifications. No lags at all.
4. The screen is awesome and the Clear black display is like an icing on the cake. Simply perfect.
5. It is not that big in size. Very comfortable in hands and not at all slippery.
6. The Audio quality is awesome both in speakers and earphones. I recommend using branded earphones, I do use JBL as am a hardcore music listener.
Truly Value for money. If you like big screens of phablet, this would be the ultimate selection. You can blindly go for it. Kudos to Microsoft for making such an awesome product.

AnonD-388475, 20 Apr 2015Depends on ur region I had about 3gb free with all unwanted... moredoesn't matter how much memory is free as you can choose option to set new apps/games install on SD card directly..
and u can move apps/games to SD card which is installed in phone memory(except some apps which u cant move like whatsapp).

soumyak, 16 Apr 2015Can anyone told me about the bettery backup of lumia 640xl.... moreunbelievable battery backup boss...it is a big challenge of windows phone to any other android phone at recent...so don't thing about the battery....you can't last the battery from morning to evening by full browsing or calling....

I have just bought a black Lumia 640 XL dual sim. I will give my opinion and review after using it for a couple of days. As for now, the build quality feels great, the real cam quality is awesome in day light and screen is clearly visible in sun light. Previously I was using Lumia 620 since it was launched in 2013. My experience with the Windos Phone has been great so far.

1. battery is just awesome bt its due to its bigger size it takes a lot of time to be fully charged
2.screen is awesome dont worry about ppi its great for the price u paid
3.clearly visible in direct sunlight
4.great build quality
5.both cameras are great
6 and most importent there is no heating problem in it
pros......
only pros is microsoft shoud provide a high mah charger so that it will charged quickly

Yes it possible zooming is available in 640 XL, but 730 6.7 mp camera is much better than 640 XL 13 mp camera. Both having Carl Zeiss lens but 730 camera is far ahed than 640 XL. I am not joking You just check it before purchase.
