gaurav bigg, 01 Sep 2015I haven't got such types of issue in my Lumia 640 XL.I thin... moreI found the reason. It was a tempered glass screen protector I got installed. It blocks the sensor which is close to the front camera. I removed the screen protector and now everything works fine.

Lumia xl is nice phone really smooth and great device. Better than any android phone. No lagging, no heating , give accurate maps, my car is talking now. Please buy

I bought a Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual phone yesterday.
I was getting familiar with the phone and one thing I noticed was that double tap does not wake the phone up.. (even though I have done the configurations as mentioned in various sites/videos).
Anyone had similar experience and found a solution? Appreciate your comments.

says it's 640 xl lte dual sim version 'Coming Soon'.
As long as there is it's availibility Status : 'Coming Soon' We can wait for it.
until Microsoft India officially announces that xl lte dual sim version won't be available in India.
They are selling this 4G Phone in other parts of the world. why can't in India??
and If they are going to provide 4G in 640 xl Phone by just providing updates in India.
Then why can't they do the same in the rest of the world.
why are they selling them 640 xl lte dual sim version Phones which is abt 2000/- costlier than non lte phone?
is Microsoft cheating them?

AnonD-434135, 27 Aug 2015Thanks for your suggestion.. coolYou don't know but my Lumia 1320 got OTA update in the month of July for 4 G compatability and now it is 4G enabled ,There are three network option 2G,3G & 4G.Few Lumia devices will get OTA update for 4G compatibility and 730 ,640 & 640 XL among those which will get OTA update very Soon.And it was the news from Microsoft sources.

After using various smartphones of different brand I can definitely say that Lumia 640 640 XL & 730 is the best smartphones under 15K.Display is very bright you haven't feel any dullness in colour colour production is very good even in lowest mode sunlight readability great .Yes among these 730 is the best in display (having 312 ppi along with Oled display best in class)and 4.7" great size for the smartphone.But all three is the best in class.Fantastic signal connectivity no network issue.WIFY is great.Battery at par.Camera unbeatable but (only struggle at night noice level visible),build quality is very good impressive one no heating issues .Windows OS now very improved and yes it's highly optimized OS.Some features are amazingly beautiful on Windows Phone.Take a chance and buy it.You will never regreat to have this masterpiece.

It's the best windows phone at these days, super good batt. Life Peformance not too expensive in price but same level in spec. Compare to a7, e7, that much too expensive price, Lumia 640 XL lte 2sim is a complete package.....i luv this phone.....
