Simply beautiful smartphone with great battery life. Definitely worth trying. Interesting alternative for who are sick'n tired of those icon/widget style operating systems. Live tiles are just awesome. Strongly recommended.

The only thing I hate about this phone is it's size, I've just got it in hand in a local store and it's really huge, this won't fit in my pocket and I'm sure most users will have problems typing messages. Anyway, the good thing is that it's a well-designed device, it feels premium and the screen is really vibrant, seems like we need to get acustomed to bigger phones.

This phone is good but not good for playing games and the software is not sync with the updated version with the Apps.

[deleted post]Yes u can send videos via WhatsApp with a size limitation of 16mb(on android this is 25mb)...
I never used any downloader app for video downloading...
Copy-paste ur YouTube video link on this site "savefrom.net".. U will get 720p format of the video also ... Click it n download..

I never used any downloader apps for downloading YouTube videos..
Install uc browser..
Go to YouTube site..
Select the video n play
Then u can c the address bar as "m.youtube.com/...."..
Edit the address bar by deleting "m." And type as "ssyoutube.com/...."
Then u will b redirected to "savefrom.net" site where u can c ur video n the available formats. Including 720p(hd),480p,360p etc... Click which one u need n the downloading will starts..

u can... moreUse uc browser for downloading videos... All the videos downloaded via uc browser can b seen in memory card >ucdownloads folder..
Am using ma 520 for 2.5 yr... I never had any software or hardware issues... Also I played asphalt airborne(1.4gb) on ma device ..no lag..

u can... moreUse "files" file manager app to manipulate(copy,paste..) all ur media files..
Use vlc or moliplayer for video player.. Vlc can support full hd .mkv videos.. Moliplayer can support any formats.. Full hd with dual audio support Avi,mkv,wmv,mp4,.flv.etc.
Ur pc must b windows 7 is so that ur phone can sync with the pc.. Ur view all ur media files via pc.. Also can copy,paste,rename,..all ur videos n mp3 files...

u can... moreDude am also using 520 ... 2 days ago i updated it with w10 mobile build 10166..works fine..
U need WiFi or 3g cinnection to download 100mb games n apps..but videos can b downloaded via 2g..
U can share audio via whatsapp ..also whatsapp calling is available now in windows phone with wp 8.1.. Ur os must b wp 8.1 to have whatsapp calling..
U can share any big files from android phone ..like movies via shareit app ..use shareit app on both the devices..

Freinds,
I have some quarries:
is it true that ,
u can,t download over 100 mb file with 2g conection.
u cant share audio video via whatsapp.
download in background via i.e.possible or not?
A downloded video file can only accesible through the app by which u downloded it e.g. u tube pro or uc browser.
and downloded video file cant be shift in ur other device like PC or Laptop.
I had used lumia 520. I like windows as an OS I dont like but some restrictions of windows like i mentioned above. if microsoft can resolve this issue of pathtic restrictions then only they can compete with Android and IOS.
because after buying my first windows phone i felt cheated due to this kind of restrictions.
i want to buy this fone but i m afraid of my first experince.
please give ur suggetions on above mentioned issue

640 XL is the Excellent smart phone at very resonable price range.No heating issue till date.Looking elegant and never feel like a cheap Chinese brand Smartphone.After using this Jewel no one will regreat,in simple word it's a PERFECT Package along with the Excellent Price,Decent Camera and Solid Battery Backup.It's a QUALITY PRODUCT.
