For ,All Lumia buyer avoid to perchase 512 Mb ram device 1 Gb ram is available in the market.Main reason behind it,the 512 Mb ram device will not able to support all feature of Windows 10.So better to go for 1 Gb ram device instead of 512 Mb ram to enjoy all feature of Windows 10.

The Lumia 640 XL comes with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC with 1GB RAM. In synthetic benchmarks, the phone comes nowhere near Android phones that are now available at a similar price, but with Windows Phone's ability to play nice with limited resources, users are unlikely to find the difference as dramatic

The camera captures high-quality full-HD video with good audio clarity. The front camera is perfect for good quality selfies, even in low-light conditions.640 XL camera in outdoors and in good lighting conditions, the 13-megapixel Lumia 640 XL camera captures decent details, though the images tend to be just a little-bit over-exposed with some amount of noise. Noise is more of an issue in low-light conditions, but overall the camera does a pretty decent job in terms of managing light and maintaining image quality. The flash does a decent job of lighting up the subjects evenly.

Checked with Microsoft India. Based on the response,i don't think it will be launched in India. Any idea? is it worth waiting for LTE model?

aish, 04 Jul 2015hey guys......comparing to android phones,which one is best....?Lumia 640 XL is nice choice.Under 15K you will never find such type of specification and build quality and very good camera, under 15K you will get only cheap Android phone Like Lenovo A6000 Plus A7000 ,Yuphoria ,Yureka...Mi note 4 g Vivo ,Meizu M 1 Note and some other brand like Micromax,Karbon,Lava,Intex and Spice etc...but after few months I am sure you are very dissapoint to buy all these smart phone.Because they all are very bad smartphone.You have option either you go for Microsoft 640 XL a complete package under 15K or you have to compromise with camera and go for Moto E2nd gen 4 g version a good performer in all aspect nice build well design and great performer in limited specification in Android segment You may also wait for Moto G 3rd gen. Just coming soon in a few week or in next month. Samsung HTC and Sony provides a good phone but only in high Segments in low segments their smartphones is just a apathetic reason no Android update and charges too much cost for the low Spec.

I have it for about 2 months now - my first smartphone ever so can't really compare. Pros - big, sleek and elegant, looks above its price, display resolution is absolutely adequate for me (can't see single pixels :-)), simple, intuitive and quick UI, camera quality is not up the level of my large dedicated camera, but good enough, battery lasts 2-3 days depending on usage. I also like the price and the GPS navigator. Cons - couldn't find a business app with some specific features, but that's about it. If anyone wants my advice (I very much doubt) - go for it.
