But reset your mobile after upgrading to Windows 10.Reset must require for smooth & lag free Windows 10 experience.

I Trust Microsoft brand But Faced many issue Finally I sold my 640xl in just hardly in 5000 no one person to take this mobile second hand the real price i brought this phone is 14500 but my hardwork money in go into trash.. in market window mobile os is die soon so be aware if you buy you will never get half money .... compare as android phone

kate, 02 Jun 2016does anyone experiencing here issue with front camera after... moreLumia camera apps much better than Microsoft Camera apps it take too much time to save the capture picture.But fails to improve picture quality.I don't know why Microsoft dropped Lumia camera apps ,Here drive and Here Maps.If they fails to give good substitute then better to stay in Nokia apps.And Cortana have no use over Windows 10.So many problems in Windows 10.Its hard to digest Microsoft takes 2 Year to to develop Windows 10 and finally buggy Windows 10 in front of us so pathetic.We have lots of hope over Microsoft commitment but he broke various commitment.Earliar it said every Lumia devices will get Windows 10 update since Lumia 520 to 640 & 640 XL,Microsoft postponed Windows 10 releasing date almost one year but still unstable OS,Earler they also said Lumia 640 ,640 XL & 730 will get 4 G connectivity through OTA update Even they released Smartphone list which will get OTA update they are partially right as they given 1320 OTA update and then after 1320 is 4 G copitable.

does anyone experiencing here issue with front camera after the windows 10 update? while you're focusing to take selfie it's a clear picture but once 'picture is taken and saved when you check the picture it's kinda darker/greyish

The Redmond giant said it would close down its research and development site in Tampere, Finland, but continue to develop Windows 10 Mobile platform and support its Lumia smartphones. The company declined to say whether it would develop new phones.
"We are focusing our phone efforts where we have differentiation," said chief executive Satya Nadella in a statement, "We will continue to innovate across devices and on our cloud services across all mobile platforms."

Good phone indeed, but the internal memory disappoints. 8 GB is not sufficient when the system files eat up as much as 5.2 GB of space and publishers of apps like Whatsapp do not allow the app to be moved to sd card. What is the point of having a smartphone when you can not make it work smooth with essential apps installed......

The telephone is of course worth of recommendation. System WP 8.1 after update runs smoothly. None the less it lags big time while browsing, internet explorer is a major misunderstanding in this case in the first place. 8 GB internal memory is waz too little for updates, apps etc. I would prefer 950xl more if it wasnt so much bugged. Unfortunately I switch to android moto xplay I really do regret it bcause the WP OS itself is way more advanced and better looking than android or ios but as i said, WP10 is undercooked and requires alot of work and patches to implement before hitting the market.

gaurav bigg, 13 May 2016Microsoft Windows smartphone market share continuously decr... moreNo, you are wrong ...nowadays android phones are so advanced that it is very easy to factory reset if your phone is lagging and restore your data up to the last call in the call log before you went for the reset. What i mean is that you won't lose any data if you have made a backup of all your data to SD card before factory reset.It is true that android phones will become slow after sometime , but you can always factory reset and restore everything in 5 minutes. So easy & convenient BTW I am a Redmi 2 user.

Zeeshan , 15 May 2016Does it supports android app? Does it hangs while playing games? This is Windows, It does not support Android or Apple. It has it's own "Windows App Store" and no where as many of useless Apps as the other guys but I usually find what I need, not always. Most of the Apps perform flawlessly with no noticeable lag. Since my upgrade (FINALLY) to Win 10 there seems to be a slower response from one App to the next, not a lot but all load times seem a little slower I have received my third update from MS it seems things are improving bit by bit. There also seems to be an issue with Apps saving to the SD card especially when the phone was operating in the 8.1 mode (don't know if it was the phone or the software) needless to say I am running out of RAM.

Not all apps but most of the apps will support.No google play support in Windows phon,download apps through Windows Store.No lags while gaming.But those game needs high graphic resolutions will not perform very well.

Microsoft Windows smartphone market share continuously decreasing.But I am happy with my Lumia 640 XL it's almost one year old and yesterday I got new OS build 328 & till date I got 6 update in a year and Redstone update on it's way.Still preforming brilliantly I haven't found any reason to switch over for other options.Believe me fiends it still running with a charm not even a single issue I ever found in my Lumia 640 XL Smartphone.One point I would like to mention here Android phone hardly give such types of performance after one year.

That must be a carrier problem, if you have it activated on the phone.

There are two t... moreHey thanks for your reply. Although my phone is dual SIM, I only have one SIM card in SIM card slot No. 1 in use at the moment.
My understanding is if call waiting is activated on the service provider and phone levels, I should be able to accept the second call that comes in on the same SIM card. This is explained to me by the Microsoft technician. Hence they are just as puzzled as to why my phone is unable to receive the second call even though call waiting has been activated.
