Occupying near... moreDon't install all maps try to install desired location to manage memory.I prefer to install my own states map it will consumes few mb only,Complete India maps consumes more than 1GB,I hardly travel to other states and to install complete maps are useless for me.It will vary from person to person.

J as JL, 15 Mar 2016Can asnyone tell me how many space is been left for the use... moreAround 3.5 GB left for the users but unlike Android we can directly install almost all applications in SD card and leftover file in phone memory.Its a one of the best advantage of Windows phone all WhatsApp Videos and Picks install in the sd card by default.8 gb internal didn't affect smartphone's performance in anyways.

i bought this model recently and am new to Microsoft user. have getting the problem suddenly while calling no voice for both side ( receiver / caller ). until the sim change to the other port even after some time the issue with that sim port also. and again have to change to the first port. which i found with two phones one after another but facing the same issue ( purchased from flipkart.. made re-piece.. but both have the same problem ).. support somebody to rectify

there is no sec. mic for active noise cancellation.
does this makes any difference in hearing and in call quality?
rest evrythng in dis phone is A-class indeed..

I once had the lumia 625 in 2014 and I got this 640XL phone on Feb 1st 2016. I also have the galaxy grand prime (since July 2015). both phones are cool.
The android may lag (as everyone knows) but it is an OS with more flexiblity and appealing UI with diversities of app. Windows OS on the other hand is super smooth.
For me, I think it's good to use both and have both smoothness on WP and the "goodies" that android OS brings to the table instead of dissing either OS.

You can switch b/w these two any time you desire. So no need to worry about it. I have purchased this phone 20 day ago and using it. Initially I was feeling a bit uncfortable because previosly I was using the android phone from last 5 years. But not it is all good, it is working very smooth, no problem of hanging as in case of androids. Definatly it is a better phone than an android device. Go for it.

There is no sense to promote Windows phone.And I will not going to recommend any one to buy Windows phone.Better to go for the Android or Iphone but don't but don't buy Windows phone.Windows 10 upgrade already late now it's going to complete one year.And till date there is no air for Windows 10 update.So friends be ware don't be don't be fool, I was cheated by Microsoft only because I had a lots of faith over Microsoft commitment but now everything is clear there is no vision of Microsoft for its smartphone sigment.

I am using Lumia 430 for the last 6 month. Very good phone and very cheap in price also I bought at Rs.7800/- But now prices of windows phones have been reduced very much. No top class phone in windows specs is available. I am using zong internet. Very fast dowloading. I also used ufone internet on Lumia 430. I upgraded my laptop from win 7 to win 10 through this phone internet. No freezing. camera is also very good. Now I want to purchase lumia 640 xl due sim LTE. for big screen and 4G LTE.
