For those who are having Battery drain, Heating, Hangs up problems. i suggest to update the phone software... i bought the phone last week and faced the same issues and fed up with this buying.
suddenly i got the new update it take around 2-3 hrs to update but my all problems are solved in this new SW.
phone is now reacting fast speed as well.

if camera is important for you and you have budget problem go for lumia 640 xl, lumia 830 or 730.
or if you want an high end phone lumia 950, 950xl, 1520 and 930 are available for you

Guys there is no any problem with the price..
Windows 10 mobile runs great on 1gb RAM and snapdragon 212 ( actually faster than previous generation sd400).
Price might look like little high, but again Microsoft can't build phones like cheep Chinese manufacturers.
This phone is really good for the price (compare the performance not specs).
Only thing that disturbs me is this phone looks better than the 950 models

after a so long wait MS release a phone with a shabby spec and no innovation model is as good as having feature of 2013-2014 mobiles
The company wants to sell Lumia and expects to survive in market with pricing strategy of Apple (first high and then reduce the price, you are not Apple in this market segment)
MS grow-up the cost of phone is not even worth 8k INR
being a fan of Nokia and now continuing with the MS its disappointing to see such immaturity being shown by company towards its slipping customer base

Stop comparing it with android. You dont need last 999x core CPU and 999x GB of ram to use it.
You pay for build quality and design more than performance (which is very good).
Yes, the price isnt real. It should come down in the few weeks.

Microsoft Looking for money only. I think, they don`t want to keep market. This model worth for around 10k.. Suppose we need android operating system, the same configuration we will get around 7k itself. I don`t know why microsoft keeping price this much for this model. Even Apple 5S also we will get for this same price.

Microsoft must study Indian market first.If windows phone os is the best in the world this kind of pricing is reasonable.But it's not.Here you get a phone with an entry level chipset(weak too)for Rs.16000.And it's not a full hd display,only hd.Are you fooling customers,Microsoft?

There are a lot of people here talking about the phone without even using it. All you talk about is specs,specs,specs, and have no idea how this phone performs and how great impression it leaves on the user. I own it (as you may guessed), and as soon as you lay your eyes on it's beautiful screen, and on it's great build quality, you forget that it has S212. It works great and it looks great. I think that not so many phones at this price range have such great build quality. Battery life is just fine, it lasts easily throughout the day. I would recommend this phone to everybody who are not looking for high end performance. So glad I bought it.

With these specifications the price tag is too much, and that too its the last phone under this flagship.
Hilarious they are providing 2000 mAh battery these days when 3000+ is comman.
Nor Microsoft is able to cope up with app upgradation.
Can't take the risk with this phone.

And Must Updated windows 10 Becouse Aftre Updated wqindows 10 In My Lumia 540 Ohone Is working Very Slowly And Bad Exprience In Microsoft Egde It'e Better Is Internate Explorer..I Have Use Airtel 4G Conectivity But Still My Download Speed Is 300 Kbps. There is Hige Problem.

MS has a differential pricing policy by which it makes its devices dirt cheap in the US while makes money from developing nations like India even if most people wont buy a MS WP in India they will fleece those who dare to use their products and thus offset some of the loss they make in their home country

There is big difference between Lumia mobile and android mobile... I bought Lumia 520 on 2014 jan it will be work fine to till... But my friends are buying 2 and 3 android mobiles in this period... Lumia 650 is my next mobile...
