Aadrian, 21 Mar 2016The fact that they bought the devices part of Nokia wasn't ... moreMicrosoft could of never won the battle against Android unless it would of bought Nokia patents and know-how. You can see that the quality of the built is nokia`s , the design is nokia`s..heck...they even have nokia employees! you dont build a phone from scratch and and a dedicated operating system for it,and reach the top so easily. They needed Nokia, they planted a general manager from Microsoft, at Nokia , he brought Nokia to bankruptcy and sold nokia to Microsft. He got his job back at Microsoft afterwards.

NJ, 21 Mar 2016Microsoft acquired Nokia, but what is the use. They are not... moreThe fact that they bought the devices part of Nokia wasn't a good thing for Microsoft at all, looking how things went. probably for Nokia it was, they have invested the money in other stuff and they are planning a comeback. But Microsoft sold a lot less Lumia's than Nokia did. Also they didn't put much effort in advertising etc. I think it would have been better for MS to focus on the software, leaving Nokia do the phone business.

Depends if you want features now or later. The newest Android version has superb battery live. Especially the new standby boost can last up way longer. The P6 probably has a slightly less better camera but way better speakers. As I see W10M it start to look alot more like Android using alot of the same features in a Windows Phone block style look. Like the notification bar and buttons down are almost the same. For I remember WP7 was totally different than Android and iOS. It's taking features. Continuum is nice feature though but will be a gimmick without developer support so at this moment it's nice to show off but not usefull without apps. The P6 has a finger scanner which is much more reliable and faster than the iris scanner. Decide for yourself what u like best. Finger scanner works 9/10 times and iris scanner much less. The 950 xl has at this moment buggy software. Alot apps don't work from the store and u already have so little to choose from. P6 will run any single app u see from the play store and the OS is finished. You will always have the latest Android. But the same is with 950 xl. But W10M isn't fully stable yet.. but can be in the future. This u need to trust on Microsoft and think about recent experience with how fast Microsoft fixes things. The P6 has better filming( but photo's are slightly worse ) its all on you to decide if u really wanna use the phone fully now.. or wait for updates and wait for apps for the phone and continuum to be really worth it. My experience with Windows Phone is that I always had to wait for everything a loooooong time.

Arjun, 16 Mar 2016No phone compares to the quality of microsoft. About 1 GB R... moreDude to make a mark in this market low specs are not enough. Less people understand that only 1 gb of ram is enough. Most of us look for good specs and better pricing. No use of doing business like this if the facts are not right. Mind it, it is Microsoft not Apple.

Microsoft acquired Nokia, but what is the use. They are not even in the race. Any small manufacturer can even understand the importance of their product, quality, specifications and market price, but a big Giant like Microsoft needs to take some lessons from the primary classes. Come on stop making toys for small kids, even they will reject such innovations and technology. I am looking for a better job or any body who can bring out new things to Microsoft should deserve to work. Hire me, I can help Microsoft to be at least in the top 10.

microsoft......
you have abetted Nokia to sell its mobile business......
now its your turn if you not made high specs phones with medium price tag.
no innovation, no different, no unique design nothing and nothing.
better was nokia which designed good windows phones...... but you ? nothing!

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2016Does it have a led notification? No since none of Windows Phones have any led notification. Instead, they have Glance screen feature which has more or less the same functionality.

Yes, Microsoft lumia does not required more than 1GB RAM why?
Because, Window store has no much useful apps or good games for the phone.

Still?why the hell can't Microsoft simply manufacture a phone having SD 410 processor with 16 gigs internal and 2 gigs of ram?there is no proper phone in the lumia series.even the ones which are close to perfect are highly overpriced.no sooner they will be forced to shut down their mobile division at this rate.
