In fact many developer cannot be bothered with windows a lot of time effort, its like running a phone full of Alpha Apps . Most Developers busy enough keeping up with Android and Iphone. I had Windows but now back to Android, I enjoy banking Apps again and i did not realize how much i missed out on. I'm not sure why people buy them and waste such big dollars like 950, I buy a phone to use, I love snapchat , It's dead end now.

My bank doesn't have application on Windows Phone but on iOS and Android there is no problem. Sick of alternatives. That number you wrote means nothing because 50% is more or less useless. Some of the main applications are missing on Windows Phone. And why should developer waist its time on WP when there is more chance to sell its product on Android on iOS.

Hello Guys
After 2 months of use Lumia 950...
It's good phone, I had a lot problems with battery life, but the key is switch off apps in background Now I have about 5% to 7% discharging rate per hour with Cortana on
About apps... everything depends on developers If you don't believe you can try compare WhatsApp and Viber
OS will be better with each update If MS will publish system updates every month, I recommend Lumia phones

The biggest problem with Windows Phone is lack of apps. There are some alternative apps but still it is not good. So far I had Lumia 925 and now I have Lumia 830. Since all Microsoft applications (One Drive, Office, etc) are on Android or iOS I believe buying a Windows Phone with limited number of applications is not a good decision and it is a biggest draw back and eventually will cost Windows Phone market share or life.

Wd OS is very stable, reliable... been in the business for more than 3 Years. But the biggest drawback is deficiency of user's choice applications in store.
Lumia users automatically compare the applications availability with Android Android and straight away discarded it.

I use it mainly for work and on more than 80% of the calls it looses the connection with the car audio, the phone freezes and come to live some minutes later. This is dangerous cause you tend to move your eyes from the road to see what happens. I knew that on applications Windows Phone are far behind compared with Iphone or Andriod but even the most used like Shazan have bugs. Never expect this from Microsoft. Can´t understand how Microsoft allowed this phone to come to the market.

Shahab, 04 Feb 2016According to my experience, which I had iPhone 5s before, H... moreIt's unlikely that Microsoft can redeem itself in the smartphone market now. Just look at overall sales of Windows Phone devices, for example. Microsoft’s Windows Phone, until now, had sold just 110 million units in its entire existence, compared with Android and iOS' 4.5 billion. Microsoft's problem is not the Lumia brand. Sure, the firm thinks that, given the 30 percent increase in Surface tablet sales, lumping smartphones into this brand will give it similar success.
The problem is Windows 10 Mobile, an operating system that had the potential to give Apple and Google a run for their money in the smartphone market, but ultimately failed given its bugs and arguably worsening app selection.
Microsoft is trying to convince smartphone buyers that it stacks up against iOS and Android when it comes to applications, but it remains a long, long way off.
RIP Windows Phone. It was fun while it lasted
