After ~2 months usage, its hard to decide whether I rather like it or hate it. Apps like Shazam either work instantly and recognise a song for a second, or don't do it at all. Edge is pain in the ***, since it constantly restarts when I use certain websites. Some functions like quiet hours are way harder to use compared to Android. Cortana is also harder to use compared to Google Talk. Other than that, I like the OS more than Android. News, weather, Office apps work better and are more sophisticated than in Android. Hardware is top notch in my opinion, yet you can find an even better one for a more modest price tag. So far I didn't experience any lag, although there are some random false notifications (Example: got a notification for lack of space, although most of it is empty)
Really hope further updates would fix the performance, and would smooth windows experience

Guys, currently Im using lumia 920 (8.1) now i want to change my phone. I'm a die hard windows phone fan. But after reading these comment I'm little confused. Help me. Now i want to know iPhone 6s or Lumia 950 ???

Amazing device! Incredible hardware and camera from outer space!
OS is great as well and gets better in every update. Best device i ever had.

In short? The worst smart phone I had so far. I got it from work and it's close to impossible to use for private use due the the lack of apps. Tech specs are fine, the OS ruins everything.

After 5 days of use
During use tweetium phone reboot
Longest battery life time: 15 hours 52 minutes
Average time between charges: 8 hours 2 minutes
I have charge mobile twice times a day
I start charge when battery has level 15%
I'm heavy user with 4 mailboxes WhatsApp Viber Messenger, Tweetium, webrowsing
But It doesn't matter because problem is in screen Use too much power in comparison to rest apps and hardware components

NAWAWY, 19 Jan 2016i need the opinion of users lumia950...i am about to buy th... moreit is a great phone with great hardware and good specs. but all this is spoiled by the OS which is still unfinished or work in progress, full of bugs... I am using this for 3 weeks and already annoyed and disappointed with the Lumia 950. believe me I was windows phone lover who switched my family too, to this platform. now I am changing my opinion.

Every windows phone is same. If you are interested Buy and try one for 5000. You are not going to get anything special in 5000 except better camera, screen, speaker. 3gb ram and processor hardly make any difference is user experience. Windows phone are failure.

Battery life after a week of use is on avg. 5 hours. I have tried switching of every thing including data connection. When I look at the battery use the display takes up 70%. I did change the brightness to 25% but this does not help. Can someone please assist?

I agree that many apps & feature available on other platforms.I posted this only for people who wants windows/Lumia but hesitating due to some negativity.

I have bought the lumia 950 but it is a pitty that not even the local Voda shop can assist me in transfer my information to this phone from a Nokia lumia 925 and nobody even know why the 950 have a memory card and how to safe information on to it .I NEED HELP

Now Microsoft are supporting IOS with their word flow keyboard..Hahahh fix windows 10 first ..Who runs this company?. Monkeys...maybe they sell of lots of 950 to support IOS lol
