In my opinion it might not resolve it. I am thinking it is a hardware problem, did the device receive a hard blow, fall, etc. This could lead to hardware issues, which can make it malfunction.

Perez5k, 29 Sep 2016OkOk so after playing with it,even when it is off ot turns on. Each time I make a call it automatically turns on even though the setting is set to off. Sometimes it turns on and doesn't turn off and I can't hear the person I'm calling. Thinking of resetting. Any suggestions?

Hey guys, I am seriously interested in buying this phone, but I want to known how the os runs. If its buggy or smooth, does the phone overheat, that kind of stuff. I currently have a lumia 1320 running wp10 as a backup phone, but it is very buggy and overheats alot. Hope that's not the case with the 950xl

However, you can switch on or off this feature, just follow the instructions below.
Go to settings
Tap on system
Tap on phone
Tap on audio routing setting
You can set it automatic, or
You can toggle it on or off.

Ever since I received this device I have had no trouble with it what so ever. Now I'm trying to find out if anyone else has come across this problem that just popped up outta nowhere like an rko. When I go to make a phone call the on speaker button highlights on it's own and doesn't turn off. Any out going call made after this happens can't go thru since the on speaker button is highlighted and u don't hear anything. Has this happened to anyone else? Ans if so, other than for restarting the phone, is there any other solution?

Have you updated your device, cos a far as I can tell, the OS is perfect and sweet now.
Also I guess you're using Lumia 950xl, cos most people use other low end Lumia devices and they come here and review rubbish based on the model they are using.
Some often argue all Lumias are the same, just as note 7 is not the same with s7, so it is with Lumia. Updates for various lumia models varies, so is the performance as well. e.g L550 is yet to get double tap, larger screen displays can get a fourth column of live tiles, etc.

Apps are not available. Existing apps are either low on functionality or not routinely updated by developers. (e.g. PocketCast ... Windows version does not play video). The whole apps eco system is severely limited. Windows 10 itself is buggy.

I like the Windows OS its a light OS like iOS can run on low ram phone models, better than iOS when it comes to battery life of the device etc.., I'm not a big app fan but, I would like to see some good apps on windows store which are missing in large #'s when compared to both iOS & Android.
Windows doesn't have the larger interest to support developers for Windows Mobile apps, I know this for sure because I know a lot of developer who have openly confirmed MS has neglected them and they did not see a reason to continue developing for Windows. Windows OS 10 is for mobile is still a hard nut to crack into unlike Android and iOS which have been hacked into etc.., Microsoft surely be coming with their surface phone but, if they don't pull their socks up and start addressing critical issues like app development they are going to lose the race, like Blackberry did. When everybody else decided to mutate to new options and designs the old players decided they are hybrids of mutation but, little did they know they began perishing.

I had the opportunity to try out the lumina, I use iPhone 6 as my daily phone for extensive emails and messaging and found the user experience superior on the iphone
Both the phones come within the same price rang, my recommendation is iPhone 6

i have believed that this windows mobile will change the future,but now i feel everything is going to be wrong because Microsoft unable to beat the competitors features. only the phone Microsoft have Here map Live GPS but now they have removed the app from w10 and worst builds and much of bugs in every w10 update. what are they doing? there are many die-heart users are using mcft Phone.
What happens to this Microsoft windows Phone ......
