I used Nokia lumia 820 three years. Just 1 gb ram phone. HD game play, heavy multi tasking work Just like butter. Windows OS smoothness and stability way better from iPhone too. Just only the app market is poor to compare with competitors. Looks like you don't have any idea about Windows OS and Microsoft phones both work perfectly.

The overheating problems ... moreMr Duplex, why it doesn't have is Processor 808, failed no Lg G4. 810 SD is doomed, why cud they remove before from onset, destroyed HTC Sony Many other brands, MSoft has same future. Wait for Surface Mobile s indigneous made, 830 wud be powering it. Wait till we have complaints lining up. Sony & HTC have already popped all the cell, for no use than cooling.

Why does everyone harp on the number of apps. There are 100's apps that do the same thing but each one counts as a 'separate' app. Last year my sister counted over a hundred separate fart apps for her iPhone ...WTF... the number of apps is completely distorted .

Very happy with my first 8 days using the 950 XL. Excelent camera, very fast device, outstanding screen. Some normal little problems with the new windows 10 mobile, but nothing that can´t be solved i suppose. Actually the new OS has great improvements. New native apps that allows to handle most of regular usage with inproved UI. The app store seems to be growing due to universal platform (still is the main disadvantage). The back cover is very low quality, i´m watching for alternatives since it can be replaceded, instead of covered with a bulky one over it. Continium is a great experience even if i'm not shure to be using it so often. Not going back to Android or iOS.

Keeping OS topic Aside
Lets see what MS has done.
They made a device which has hardware made with huge cost cuttings ,it has only 32gb internal memory,only 3gb ram (i know 32gb Memory and 3gb ram is more than enough for a average user but rightnow i am just plainly compairing it to other better compititers)
(lumia 950XL also has no metal built i mean al the construction is pure plastic built & this one i hate the most) &
even MS knows that no wud buy there Lumia 950 XL for a price they are asking right now that is why they are also bundling there windows Continuum Dock worth $100 with the smartphone.& i guess they will also follow Sony's footsteps means asap this preoder offer will be over MS will stop giving Continuum Dock and will reduce the 950 XL prices asap by almost $90 to $100 .

It's actually rated to support 2TB MicroSD cards. Which means storage wise it's future proof.

Lumia Denim 2 update (Better) still apps need more & More improvements.
Please bring those apps to a better extent & seriously work on it.

But if I can buy a iPhone with 10000000apps in the same price range (Maybe I nee only 10 application but its available in the store) so why i spend the same money for only call & texting facility. As i said before I like Microsoft/WIN 10 but the same time i have to care about my usage.

I've just bought it. It is going to be my first windows phone.I'm comming from a LG G2. I just hope that alle those comments on not existing apps won't hold. I'm not a huge app consumer and as I can see,there is only 2 apps which I can not get of the apps I have now, we will see...

The overheating problems with the snapdragon 810 is related to a bug in the design of the chip. This bug has been fixed in the latest revision of the chip (read on wiki), the liquid cooling is only to distribute the heat evenly, to prevent "hot spots" on the phone. So, the overheat problem is solved by the snapdragon manufactor, and is history!, not By Microsoft "just adding more cooling" to the phone. And the 950 do "NOT" have liquid cooling!!!

Liquid cooling is working, it seems. This phone only gets warm, doesn't get hot. It has single hand mode when you hold down the Windows button. Pretty cool. Skype and even Groupme's group are built into the Messaging app. Continuum mode works great.
