One of the best phone I had ever. Fast, Super touchscreen, Best audio quality, Sufficient storage & RAM, Iris scanner works perfect, Super camera, Best battery life, and Still getting the updates.

You are absolutely correct. I bought this phone used, from my friend, just to get my hands on that camera. He loved the phone & would still be using it, if not for the apps issue.

One of the beat phone i ever had...
Long lasting battery life
Outstanding camera quality
It is very useful with all aspects of interfaces for professional use... Believe me you will love it when you are uswd to it.
And the docking station converts this masterpiece into a full fledge computer for office.
A true professional phone for the professionals...

The saddest part of the phone market is that no one has still beaten the image quality of the 950XL's camera. The only reason I stopped using this as my main phone is because of APPS. I need to be able to use most of the major APPS for me to keep using it. I need Facebook's APP but the Windows version just does not support voice calling and video calling. Development for APPS has ceased on the Microsoft platform.
This is a cell phone that came out in 2015 and it's now 2018 and I have yet to see a better camera on a phone than this. Microsoft is truly innovated in their UI design. I hope to see maybe a future Surface Phone which will return the power of a Windows PC OS in the palm of your hands.
This phone has better touch sensing than my HTC10 and everything is much more faster and fluid. The AMOLED screen is still an excellent choice for visibility in sunlight over LCD. My HTC10's LCD sucked in sunlight so bad that it made me miss my 950XL's screen. It's sad that the only thing this phone OS lacked was access to the most popular APPS. Had this not been the case the 950XL would still be my main phone. I still keep this phone as my backup phone as of now my HTC10 is dead.

strat... moreNo, both SIM support 2G-3G-4G.
But of course not simultaneously. You have to choose which SIM shall be used for mobile data. Switch between the SIM takes about 3 seconds. I use the feature to take use of two different operators every day. (Salt and Swisscom in Switzerland).
Seems to be quite rare, such a feature.

I understand that the second sim in Lumia 950 is 2G standby only. Is this the case with Lumia 950 XL dual sim as well?

Android OS so far is still the OS to reckon with. MS Lumia 950 XL is a monumental flop.

Using this phone from a long time. Never have seen any heating or battery drain issue. Its smooth fast and snappy and battery last full day very easily. Getting small Firmware updates every month Jan 2018 and Feb too. I am completely satisfied and love this mobile. It has camera like no other phones till date.

Windows Phone are run very smoothly compared to android phones even with just 1Gb of rams. Camera is excellent. Display is very good. No hang at least in my own experience. Built in apps like office and maps and health is very useful. No problem with games and social apps. Just lack of some applications can make some problems. After all very beautiful and stylish phones. Hope to see at least one new phone from Microsoft in 2018.

Rebuilt Windows phone , because it's camera is very good . manual mode is very good.
plz try to rebuilt Surface phone or Windows phone and add option Android app runing cross platform system or Built mainly app for windows store , like youtube, facebook,..etc. then nothing fail phone.

GOOD: (i) camera quality is excellent that i am very happy with the image quality, i think no other phone can compete, (ii) plastic design is suit in the pocket. BAD: (i) heating problem making battery draining very fast, if you like browsing internet may be only half day batery backup, (ii) facebook messager call in both sound and video does not work, (iii) glass sreen and cover protection difficult to find or event can not find it. CONCLUSSION: if like taking photo you should chose it. Overall advise- you better chose Nokia 8
