Have used it for around 8 months and is quite okay. I used it alongside note 5 and operation wise its,ok. Make sure you update( updated around 3 or 4 times). It once had started overheating but after resetting it behaved.

Good phone, good specs... BUT!
The battery is not THAT good, and the OS, well, could be better... cm'on windows... make some updates! =S

Using whatsapp, language turkish , the letter i is not operational.

microsoft 950xl user, 20 Feb 2017At first i buy and use it..everything was great..then after... moreThe processor is a major weak point of this device, Snapdragon 810 is infamous for overheating issues. Few users in Gsmarena suggested the new Alcatel Idol 4S Windows over this phone.
After facing myriad heating issues on my 950 XL I just gave up switched to Alcatel Idol 4S Windows. Needless to say from my experience so far the new Alcatel Idol 4S Windows is a way better Windows 10 Mobile device than 950 XL and of course it looks and feel better too.

At first i buy and use it..everything was great..then after i use it about a few week later.it start to show a sign getting very hot and the battery is drain much faster than it estimated..then i just try to soft reset it and try to download a new update version for window 10.but it was fail and my download just stuck at 0 %.i just getting really dispointed about the devices.now after 6 month using it,the devices just turn on about not more the 30 minutes after a full charge and automatically shut down after getting damn hot..try to restart it,it just crash again and again.it just show only a green colour as a background.hope Microsoft just take back all the product from buyers/owners and return it back with new build devices and with no more issue of failure.

950xl"s spec. fab... but i think android os would have been better for such high spec. device😠📱📲. ..

What's fate of this flagship device, all plastics, 810chipset, worst windows 10,and after 18months still full of bugs. After Sale of Nokia back to original owners, MS has no stake or interest in Mobile any more, bye bye

Lexis, 23 Dec 2016Please how can i connect my lumia 950 xl to my computer. be... moretry removing your SD Card then uninstall all lumia drivers on your pc then connect your phone again. mine works that way. Though the only way to copy files to my SD Card is thru SD Card adaptor.

Your PC will automatically download the required drivers, mount your phone as external storage and sync your data with Groove Music, Pictures etc.
Do note that this method is tested with Windows 8.1 and 10. I'm not sure whether it would work on older systems or not.

The Phone is fine, but the OS, because of Microsoft? I have a 9 month phone that works as good as a hundred dollar mini tablet. I cant receive texts make or receive phone calls. Why? I think because it happened after Microsoft updated the phone. (a minor update too)
The screen is beautiful. The camera functions very well. But every phone I ever bought worked fine as a phone! The Customer support for this phone (BZx.com) is a joke too! Their website does not work correctly and just wastes your time Now I can only make calls thru Wi-fi

Most sick model which led to MS mobiles downfall. Soc 810 worst used help of pipes built-in for cooling. Never ever think of buying Surface phones again
.
