Hi folks !
Yesterday, i called mitsubishi cuz of some strange problems with my M430i.They surely offered me a firmware update cuz my one (bought in Jan) seems to be old. But what I also heard really dissapointed me. They told me...Mitsu stops any developing and production for M430i, all phones, at the end of June.
Has anybody tried to flash m900 firmware on m430i ? I really would like to try that, if I can backup old one (just to change again).
Any help is appreciated !
I still search for an opportunity to backup all my sms but mitsu didn´t help. They say...only a small amount can be moved (each turn) to sim card and then backuped.

It means the actual CMOS or CCD sensor is of a smaller resolution, and a software will enlarge the picture to 2megapixels..
like the k700 where the CMOS sensor is only VGA (0.3 megapixels), but you can take a streched version to 1.3 megapixels.

I convert directly from mp3 to 3gp and it played very well..with quick time pro

hey ling3bzr, when you set your cam resolution to max you won't have any zoom function. if you need zoom just lower the cam resolution.

Hi Rodos, I'm also using M430i not M900. As M430i looks no MP3 support, I enjoy 3GPP format as you can create as below.
a. CD transfer to .m4a by i-tune
b. .m4a file needs to be saved in .mov by
QuickTime Pro
c. Then, export movie to 3G
Options : File format 3GPP
Audio
Audio AAC-LC
Data Rate 16kbps or more
Channel Stereo
Samping 11025Hz or more
Quality better
I think the Dta-Rate should be more than 64kbps to keep CD quality, but still 50% smaller than MP3.

i've order M430i.i want M900 but i can't find it in Greece.what should i do to play my M430i mp3????????

The M900 product can play MP3 files but the M430i can not.
More, you can play MP3 files with the clamshell closed.
Video fromat supported is 3gp files.
More, M900 is JAVA MIDP2.0.
M430i is Imode product and M900 is not ( but M900 is WAP 2.0 ).

does anyone have wap problem with this phone? when i use wap on my phone.....most will just pop out 'the page is too large to send back' is it my phone settin problem or does everyone have the same issue....

the m430i doesnt have mp3 it has imode.. but you can play good quality music convert them into 3gp...
the m900 has mp3 and hasnt imode

had nice opinions of the phone in the beginning but now its messing up in CANADA, it wont even roam on FIDO network, thinking of selling this phone ASAP and getting the SONY W800

yes it does have mp3 on it. if you look at the specifications page you will see it near the bottom.

jus to correct a previous posting of mine it is the kawasaki ninja not mitsubishi either mitsubishi please please stop wasting your money and boring us all with your crappy excuses for phones
