MIUI 11 Stable version arrives to 12 more phones
Xiaomi has started pushing a stable MIUI 11 update to twelve smartphones. The Chinese maker usually pushes just the interface updates, without actual OS changes, and since there is no mention of Android 10, it is safe to assume all the phones will stay on their current Android.
The package is seeded to Chinese devices, but the ones that are also sold globally should receive it as well by the end of the month, or in the worst-case scenario, in early December.
The list of eligible phones goes at follows:
- Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G
- Xiaomi Mi 6
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
- Xiaomi Mi CC9
- Xiaomi Mi 9
- Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro
- Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro
- Xiaomi Mi Note 3
- Xiaomi Redmi S2
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A
- Xiaomi Redmi 7A
This is the second batch of phones that are getting MIUI 11, here’s the list of which devices were lucky enough to be part of the first rollout in China:
- Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S
- Xiaomi Mi 8
- Xiaomi Mi 8 SE
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
- Xiaomi Mi Max 3
- Xiaomi Redmi 7
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Xiaomi Redmi K20
It is good to see that even two-year-old phones are getting the new user interface. The MIUI 11 brings a more polished design, new natural effects and alarms, a system-wide dark mode and plenty of new themes, wallpapers, and animations.
There is also a third phase of rollout that should include another dozen of Xiaomi devices which is also scheduled for November. We’ll follow the situation and let you know once the company starts pushing the update.
