Moto E40 available from October 17 in India for INR 9,499
Last week Motorola unveiled its Moto E40 without any availability details but now the brand’s India branch has just officially announced the device for the local market. The phone is going on sale from October 17 at 12AM for INR9,499 ($125) via Flipkart.
Moto E40 brings a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for its 8MP selfie cam. It’s powered by the Unisoc T700 chipset alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is further expandable via microSD. The back houses a 48MP primary camera alongside two 2MP modules for macro shots and depth data. There’s also a fingerprint scanner hidden in the moto logo.
Elsewhere the phone brings a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over USB-C, a headphone jack and boots Android 11 with Moto’s My UX interface on top. The E40 can be had in Pink Clay and Carbon Gray colors.

Higher numbers aren't always good . 90hz display drains more battery and for majority of people 90hz doesn't make a groundbreaking difference. It was only introduced to smartphone market cz they needed to boost their sale
