I have this phone for about 4 months. 1: Design, you may have problem open the phone with your hand but you will get use to it. every time you take this phone out to make or answer a call, some one beside you will ask you what the hall is this. but i hate where have the micro SD card, ever time you want to transfer stuff from or to micro SD, you need to turn off the phone and take the battery out to get the micro SD out 2: Features, great picture with 1Gig memory, easy to transfer pic, wallpaper, ringtones, and MP3. with memory card and card reader to your PC. also i love card reader feature. 3: Performance, use it for Rogers network and i have no problem with it. my opinion don't download any file to it such fireware or themes and you will be fine. battery don't last too long if you play with the phone all the time, also you can not add expanded battery. over all as a phone i rate 8.5 out 10.

does anyone know how to load and play videos on the A1200? I keep getting the "does not recognize plug in screen! this as well as not being able to access internet browser, also mms messaging. It does support 850, it is a nice size, i give it 2 thumbs up for that, seems to be a waste of time for north amercian users though. Plus no EDGE,

does anyone know if moto intend to update the ming to bring it into 2007? adding EDGE to a phone that is over a year old doesn't really allow it to compete with the latest phones out there.
for example, its technical specs look ancient when compared to the likes of SE K810 or Nokia n95 or apple iphone.
I really like the design of this phone, but its dated features and poor UI discourage me from buying it.
i would ideally like this phone to have a better camera, better music player, better UI and the ability to download additional 3rd party software - this is almost impossible for this linux based phone.
