Well it is an excellent phone which gives great speed. However once i bought it i found it is of no use to me. It is not compatible with microsoft exchange server and i cannot get my corporate emails on this phone. i spent such a handsome amount to buy this phone and was shocked to hear many cheaper phones are able to do what this beauty cannot.

Hi, this phone is fantastic. Business Card reader function is very good. The Flap feature is the very good as well as bad. Good in a sense that it protects TFT screen from various scratches. Bad in a sense that its speaker is in flap connected through hair line wires. so if flap gets damaged or hurt then gone case. but very good one.

One very bad thing about Motorola i have noticed is the quality head phone which they provide. The head phone given is the same one which is with its low cost range mobiles. No improved version of head phones with high cost segments. which is not in Nokia or SonyEricsson. Headphone comfort is pathetic.

Hi, I'm interested in this phone, how is the English handwriting recognition? I heard it was slow as hell. I need it to be fast enough to take notes during a meeting. What say you?

I'm deciding whether to get the Motorola A1200 and the Motorola v3 Blue RAZR Bluetooth Phone. I don't really need the phone to play music or check my email. All I need it to do is call, text, store numbers, and look pretty. The appeal of the A1200 is that it looks really nice, but it's talk/standby times are lower than the razr and it sounds like it's hard to text with. Is the poor sound quality of the A1200 that's been mentioned also a problem with the razr? Please let me know, I have to make the decision soon. Thanks!

Just got mine last week. Honestly the only reason I got this phone is that it looks good. Nothing much out there that can beat a functional tranparent flip. I'll try to be as brief as possible.

                              Strength:
-Looks Good (got to say it again)
                              -Smaller than expected
                              -Touchscreen works great
-Linux OS, but it's only a plus if you have non-comformity syndrom (why do you think I got a moto when SE and Nokia works sooo much easier?).

                              Weakness:
-It's a pain to text on the microscopic virtual keyboard.
-You cant text while walking/moving or you'll have a big accident, try it if you dont believe me (trust me this phone will slow you life down).
                              -No highspeed data capabilities (BOOOO!!!)
                              -Short battery life.
-Quality of the screen not up to motorola standard (grainy images BOOO!!! The cheaper V3X blows this thing out of the water anytime)
-Feature by feature, V3x blows this thing out of the water anytime anywhere. And V3x is waaayyyy cheaper too.
-Confusing menu arrangement (only a problem if you're used to moto old school arrangement)
-I hate microSD. You can accidently swallow them and still dont realize it not even after you crap em out. Would be a huge plus back in the 70s when the soviet were evil and tried to took over the world every single week. But now, drop one on the tarmac and good luck finding it.

                                  Hi guys,
                                  couple things here.
                                  1. I see ppl say that they can cut part of mp3s to be the ringtone. How do I do that?

                                  2. I have the firmware 53p here, and i want to fix the voicemail bug and network time issue. How do I do that?

                                  Please HELP. Thanks a lot!!!

                                    Hi friends
I am using right now Motoming. It is a good PDA phone but not the best PDA out there. One has asked about the phone to compare with SE W810 and N70, which are basically different kind of phones. SE W810 is Music Centric Phone and N70 is a smartphone whereas Motoming is a touchscreen linux based PDA phone which is actually made for business people. It has good style. Sound is not loud as Nokia and crispier as SE phones but quite ok if u use some modification by editing the sound file which is a bit headache. Music quality through earphone is decent but not good like music phones. Overall Motoming is a good PDA phone with decent operating speed.

                                      MING A1200 certainly..

W810, although it has the best camera, its screen is so small compared to the MING with the best screen here. QVGA.. N70 always hang, and its speaker is one of the worst.

A1200, in my opinion has the best looks and its price is reasonable. Touch screen with Linux OS. I will go for Ming A1200.

N70 is definitely not a good phone, its way to outdated and small screen, bad music
