Hi all,
I just purchased a ming, and I want to a micro sd for it. I've been researching online trying to find what size it is compatible with. However, different sites with different specs gives me different size. Some sites say it can only support up to 512mb, while some says it can support up to 1gb. Well, I want to buy a 2gb and some sites say that it does support 2gb. I don't want to buy it and have to return it. Would anyone please let me know if you do know the answer to my question. Thanks a lot for your help.

Excelent phone, excelent voice and speed. Loud and clear hearing and most of all nothing like TFT big screen and portability..

looks amaaaazing but i have a big BUT ..the sound is really bad and cannot hear the person at the other end properly sometimes...can anyone help me solve this problem

Hi guyz!!!!!!
overall it seems to be a very good phone! ignoring the fact, its with 8mb user memory and a miserable 4hrs of talk time. :) Its Looks are just amazing!!!
I am planning to buy this phone but i ve got few questions though!
Does this phone support a limited range of softwares?
How is the loudspeaker? i mean can you hear a call while you are working on your pc,
with your phone on your desktop!!!!!
and the last question Has it got a good quality music player? Is the sound loud enough?
I am eagerly waiting to hear from anyone of all you great hearts!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys..the manual says that if you enable the talk phone option, the phone reads incoming caller's information when a call comes in. but even after i put my phone in talk mode it doesn't do that. has anyone been able to use this feature? if so, can you tell me how you set it up? thx

don't think you can put them anywhere, i tried for a few days when i first got 'em. tried to clip it using the battery cover, not a good idea.

i loved this phone and i do recomend it!
somebody stole it this wqeekend and now im looking for something better(what could it be)
try using a bluespoon spider headphones its the best match!

so there i was being a total noob:
I backed up my contacts and put all my pics on my mini sd
I threw on the old rsd lite 2.7 (I since upgraded to 2.8 )
and tried to put on 48P. evrything seemed to be ok.
then rsd reported that the operation had failed.
Since then my poor ming wont go past the "Hellomoto" screen.
In the 1st modding guide it said that other threads tell of how to use RadioComm to fix it (I Haven't Found those threads).
PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!
P.S. If youre wondering why this (situation) qualifies me for noob status
1 i didn't check which version i had before
2 this is my only phone (my gf has probably left 80 msgs).
I hope im not S.O.L.

hey guys...am planning to bu this phone! am confused wether to take this or not? and i insist on taking a motorola fone!

*this is what i use for web surfing, sms, mms, msn mobile (not preloaded)
*UltraIM Pro is what i use ($24.99 around) works great, able to wrong chinese & handle it well, i wasn't able to get the regular msn that was preloaded to work.

1. The phone will turn off and on again by itself when the memory reach to a certain level, don't panic.
2. Go to worldtime and set up your local hour.

does this phone 'speak' the name of the person calling ? and if so, does it do that when you on vibrate or silent profile? thx

I gave up, I already change the phone for a Treo 650.
Do you sync the Ming really with no problems?
