Texting it´s not hard at all (at least for me)... sure if you are trying to use the phone's handwriting recognition tool it might take a while. But if you're using your english keybord it should be quite simple and in many cases faster that the regular phone's numeric pad, where you have to press many times the same key to get where you want to. I've had this phone for about 3 months and i could not love it more. cheers for motorola!

does anyone know if the a1200 has a loud speaker i mean as in a good high sound volume and if u can browse the net of an unlocked one with cingular?

hi there ,i bought this phone like 5 months ago i since then i cant get it to download any music on it,and the cd's that comes with it ,they wont let me put pictures on computer or anything at first it let me but now not even the pictures i can put on cell phone from d computer or the cell phone to computer..i dont know whats going on!

Hi. Im trying to sign into my gmail account but it says "Your browser's cookies functionality is turned off" Eventhough I turned it on ..The same msg comes up for any email website and I couldn 't sign in and access my email.. can anyone help with it..?

I posted a message earlier..thanks for answering but I think you guys got me wrong I got the ringtone assigned to my contacts however when I get a text message from a contact the general text message plays not the assigned ringtone..anyone knows why the assigned ringtone only works when you contact calls you and not when they text you?

Agree. Texting is a bit inconvienient. but generally love it. Very stylish and compact.
To set individual ringtones, just go to the contacts menu. Make sure the contact is stored in the phone I think, not your sim. highlight your specific contact and edit. There should be heaps of fields, scroll down to ringtone and browse...

It seems that my A1200 won't play songs anymore. When I refresh my libray, just as it's about to complete the refresh, it pops itself back to the main menu. What's wrong with it?

i saw on a website that it is possible to take photos with A1200 with the flip closed.
is it true?
also can someone who has seen the "media parameter above limit" error tell me when does this error come?
basically i need to know whether it is possible to view music videos on this fone and also wat is the clarity for them and watz the max possible length of the video

I have by mistake locked it and now it asks for UNLOCK CODE on switching on. I dont know it and hence cant proceed.........

i have 2gb memory on this phone and works great my only problem is the keyboard and wi-fi, i could overlook the keyboard but the wifi is too important i will change to the imate-jaq3 as soon as it comes out.

I recently bought this phone, & believe me it's worth for the price u get, the best feature is Voice recognition it's very intuitive, u can do numerous thing even without taping a single stroke just by VR.... cool phone though lack a few things like Sound is quite low but alternatively u can use earphones which gives quite reasonably audible & clear sound....

i juz bought my motoroal A1200 ming version, can anyone here tell me how to setup the GPRS setting. im currently in malaysia and using DIGI.
