Hi Guys,
yesterday I bought a motorola A1200, and I probably have a software problem. when I click on the application launcher, there are no icons displayed and because of this I am not able to perform basic functions like setting alarm, time, etal. however, other features like BC reader, real player, FM radio etal are working fine. I used other ways to get around opening these apps. The only problem I am facing is the application laucher is not working, i.e. no icons, no list view nothing .. the screen comes absolutely blank. Let me know if anybody else faced this problem. How do I go about solving it... I am just concerned whether I missing some initial setup tricks... Please advise

The touch-screen can display a dial pad for dialling. You do not need the "stylus". Actually, I never used it for calling/tracking calls.
I only wish it had Wi-Fi support! Besides this, I love it.

what i really wanted to know about this phone is: do you have to use that pen thing to dial or can you use your hands and also is this phone made with a sin card?

Hi all, I respect all your comments and views aboyt this phone, but let me explain a thing, There's no perfect phone in the world. I have a motorola e398 and when I bought it, it couldn't do alot of features, but I found out that it can video and so on, but nevertheless, I need a new phone and I like this one, i don't want no other brand cause I get free internet access with motorola phone, that's the only brand it do with, another thing you guys are lucky, I'm in Jamaican and the price you pay for your phone we are paying triple the amount, it's very dear here, but I bought my phones in the US, where it is totally cheaper, this phone have alot of features I love, especially the camera, cause I use a nokia 6280 and I like the camera and when I compared it with this it's the same, so I decided to get one of this, but i want to know about some more things about this, I realized that it records while on a call, I like that, my e398 uses 1 GB and I'm to keep it to use in this, but I want some info about this phone:
Does it zooms? how much it goes to if it does? Does it zooms meanwhile videoing? Does it have any form of light for videoing? Does it view full screen? Does can you assign video files to contacts? does it have a bluetooth and charging light? It has voice dialling? how many contacts can be saved in the phone book? can a 1 GB or 2 GB use in it? Can it be upgraded {Firmware}. those are some questions for now, Please send me an answer.......
For the person who wants to send mp3 to your phone: Get a bluetooth adapter and use it on your pc and that's the best way to send anything to any bluetooth phone.......

the flap is not that fragile, its a high density plastic, only thing, after time it will scratch. Its an excellent phone, all the features work well, radio sound is awesome, and it does verything except pocket pc stuff..really cool phone

Someone said they werent happy with picture quality.. Do a firmware upgrade for a nice improvement.

what can i say i aint a fan of moto but wow this phone is jus lovely it doesnt hang never does no matter how i push it wow linux mobile rules people trust me. th eonly prob i have is the male voice used for the speakign phone section that sucks i wanted a bond girl lol
