Appears to be a good ("simple", yet good) smartphone. I'm waiting for the release here in Brazil, it's very beautiful and our 3,5G networks are still immature (and the 3,5G is crap here, the networks are new, the service is expensive etc), so I don't mind the lack of UMTS/HSDPA on this phone.
The specs include GPS, quadband radio, EDGE, 3.15 MP camera with autofocus... the same beautiful and pleasant Linux OS...
Ah... I wonder how long the release will take to occur. My idea is to replace my CDMA Samsung i330 with this Motorola.
(My english is not very good, I know, I know...)

david moreya, 03 Sep 2008please be kindly advised that motorola should at least have... moreEach brand has its own expertise in terms of design...
Moto invented the flip phone and it still designs some of the best flip phones around with the best reliability.
The Koreans are good at making sliders.
Certain almighty brand is good at bar phones. Though when you ask the almighty brand to design a flip phone, its top-of-the-line flip phone ended up with a design where once the headphone is plugged in, the flip canNOT be fully opened! (not to mention the paint comes off so easily!)
