Yes this has the same functions as its previous version the A1200. Only good thing is that it reads the sms back to you in a robot voice. Other than that once again a crap phone from Motorola. A question really..why does Motorola build boring phones? Hello? The V3 design is so prehistoric. Why incorporate it in all their models?

vaio, 25 Aug 2008i'm sure this type is priority for china market thats why n... moreOne of the reasons for Moto to focus on 2G phones is the fact, People's Republic of China, is developing its own TD-SCDMA 3G system, which is quite different from the rest of the world.

Some sources indicated the government even purposely delays the release of WCDMA 3G license to other operators in PRC, so to ensure its own TD-SCDMA system is protected.

If 1/3 of your customers are willing to pay such "premium" for phones, especially for such compact touch screen device where N & SE can only dream of making, why not charge more?
