Is this phone good? I'm thinking of getting it, cause its one of the few phones (that looks nice) that is within my budget, but there seems to be much complains about it too. And it seems to be quite heavy :/

Has anyone had this phone to access it the internet succesfully via AT&T's GSM network? If so, where did you order the phone from? I cannot get it to work to save my life. I've done all those standard windows settings using wap.cingular and password.. Still don't work. I even had the largest data plan. I like the phone, it would be 100% better with internet access.. HELP Pls!

Really strange that Moto seems to be concentrating on developing more CDMA phones recently, and the worst part is, it seldoms makes the conversion from CDMA to GSM....(unlike the StarTAC days when CDMA StarTAC was made into StarTAC X?)

I have used more Motorola phones than most people have seen, I am a Motorola person. Going back to the Microtac and the Startac phones. I have used the V3682, v878, v690, v66, v60, v600, v620, v635, V3, v3i, v8, z8, z10. I am a Motorola guy, love the way they feel. The problems I am facing using this unit go well beyond the lack of a back button. I am unable to delete individual files from the notepad, I am unable to change the time from 24 hours to am/pm. When I try setting up a new e-mail account I am unable to enter the password because the keypad blocks it!? As soon as I remove it I cannot enter anything, so it is a catch 22. When you remove the battery or reset the phone you must always switch back to the memory card so that the phone does not save files or pictures to the phones memory, not only that but it's definition of "M" is a pixel resolution of 320x240. I discovered this after taking 300+ pictures in crappy resolution. How about the poor bluetooth function. I am unable to remove anf files from the phone via bluetooth & when I save files it saves it to a folder rather than automatically comprehending the file designation, something that my old v635 could do. Trying to call a number from the contacts list without the stylus is next to impossible especially on the go. The keypad itself is improperly oriented and occupies too little space on the phones itself. There are no options to change this. When making calls on the phone it gets extremely hot and touching the phone with your ear in the wrong place can end the call. You can have the phone lock to avoid this, but then it is impossible to unlock the phone and use the keypad and speakerphone at the same time. If you want to check you credit card balance or calling a number which requires you to type through a menu.
