Anonymous, 23 Jul 2009Sorry but this phone sucks, I am using it every day here in... moreSo other than the lack of the "back" button, exactly what other problemS which you encountered on this phone that makes it sucks?
Are you aware those problemS being common on Windows Mobile based phones or are they specific to A3100?
Suggest you conduct further research before you start complaining.

ancehamsah, 19 Jul 2009Have you ever seen a hardware back key on any Windows Mobil... moreSorry but this phone sucks, I am using it every day here in Korea and I feel like killing myself. My girlfriends iPhone is easy to use, and has a great interface. Though is extremely limited other than being a media device. This phone is very uncomfortable for me to use even as just a phone. Some of the features make no sense. And yes you need a back button so you dont have to start from the beginning when you make a mistake or go to a menu by accident as the touch screen is awful.

Paul_Bryan, 15 Jul 2009i wish motorola is still prominent here in the philippines.... morei heard they're pulling out motorola here. maybe it's not profitable here because of the larger preference of filipinos towards nokia..

Have you ever seen a hardware back key on any Windows Mobile Professional device? Mostly don't have it because you don't need that, you just need click, click and click when you know and want to learn.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2009As a matter of fact my only experience with Windows mobile ... moreQuality of A3100 certainly doesn't seem as "refine" as other "original" Moto products, including the good old A1000. (if somebody can convert my A1000 to support mini-USB plug, I'll continue to use it)
Heard A3100 is OEM from a Taiwanese PDA phone maker. (and pls don't look down, afterall, HTC originated from Taiwan) So the quality...
Am now thinking about getting the black gold version by trading in my silver one.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2009i think u got ur phone from trash can and i think u have se... moreThat is funny how you focus on one comment. There are numerous glaring problems with this phone. The unbranded version of this phone is absolutely awful to use. Yes the keys are too small. Why do I have to dial on an area that occupies 1/3 of the screen space when dialing? You dont comprehend what I am saying you pathetic twit? The f@cking keys are too small? Maybe you are a little person or just such a fat-ass that you sit around playing with your phone all day and have mastered it? Why is there no back button? Why is there no way to select individual files from the notepad folder rather than erasing them all in bulk? Which is the only option? Why do you have to press the power button on the top of the phone every time you want to use it? Have you tried using this phone for business? Have you tired using this phone to simply check your credit card balance? Go ahead try it. Then you tell me how f@cking great of a phone it is. And you gotta love a touch screen that is unresponsive, and requires a good amount of force to press any button. Now the funny thing is, try doing this without the stylus? Oh yes and the wonderful contacts list on this phone. I defy anyone to navigate through the contacts using their finger without messing up numerous times. And with no back key you have to literally start from scratch every time. It can take as long as two minutes to dial from this phone. How about text messaging on this phone? That's another wonder in itself? The problem is that Motorola did not test this phone in real world environment long enough.
