Motorola A3100

I bought a A3100 back in March. Uses a Destinator Map, which quite honestly works pretty well under wide open spaces. To be fair I think the camera 3.2MP and resolution is pretty ok for its pricing; anyways Winmo only supports 65K resolution, SGD$368 with a 2 year plan. The screen is really good. Its no where the type of touch feel compared to I-phones' but hey its certainly worth a try. In short good cheap reliable GPS, PDA cum phone.

one simple example is zn5
zn5 , k850 ,c902 , g810 , lg renior , n82 ,6620 , n95 all are 5mp camera (even samsung i8510 8mp)
than you never cant compare picture take with zn5 with other model and zn5 is beter than all above phone

realy this is true
the numbers and digits that write for the SPECIFICATION unit isnt VICISSITUDE
and just in operation we can see reality
when my v3x lcd that make 2005 is beter than even n73 k850 and very other phone after several years
and my z8 too
and now you can compare zn5 and n82 lcd then you understand whats realy clarity and sharpness .

As from my observation (through SMRT around many stations, from downtown to suburban areas) a few years back, the almighty brand captured nearly 80% of the market share, and most others (maybe except Samsung & SE) were not really agressive about marketing their mobile phone products in the beautiful garden city.
I really like most aspects of the garden city, except the fact 80% of the time I can only hear the specail tone by the almighty brand...and the fact catching a cab (other than hotels) seems like winning a lottery.
Overall people are rather polite as they speak very softly in trains, which I really appreciate. (Total silence in Japan is a bit over...)

motorola 320x240's displays is also sharpen than all other vga devises as you can see just compare z6 to k850 or n78 even z6 is 1 years older than these so now you can compare a3100's display to XPERIA X1 you can obviously watch which one is better absolutely a3100 even by lower resolution

Looks too round for me. These days a device that costs 500+ bucks has to be also appealing to the eye. Extremely simple design doesn't always win. 240x320 is outdated resolution, not enough for comfortable web browsing with all these high speed networks. Really, i'm waiting for 3 years for a phone upgrade together with resolution upgrade to at least VGA. So far only HTC, SonyErricson and ETEN have come with VGA/VGA+ winmobile devices and I'm thinking to make the move.

both model are great phone
but a3100 is realy beter design and very good look

ALMOST all features are same in a3100 and x1
than radio and .2" big display for x1
and a3100 has one version up OS than x1(Qualcomm 7201A 528 MHz),Handwriting recognition,gprs Class12...
AND: x1 IS 50EUR MORE EXPENCIVE THAN A3100
