This phone is not released yet - we don not know the reliability.
as far as specs?
very disappointing:
1: too thick
2: small screen for the size of the phone (unused areas)
3: less than 1 GB memory! (16-32GB available already)
4: 3MP camera? outdated!
5: movie specs????
6: low specs on battery
7: Win Mobile 6.1 - buggy!!!! 6.5 is already out!

I think there is no reason to be so excited :)))
Motorola made a fortune with V3 years ago - but done nothing since. They were ahead of others about 2 years. Now they lost 40-50% of business!!!!

As far as my ROKR Z6 and E8 goes, sadly the lack of CrystalTalk is a deal breaker for me.
Still waiting for the 3g VE66! Hopefully it is not a rumour!

Through my own experience with A3100 and my friend, who is always the first I call to test the (voice quality) of a phone, his comment was "ok".
So if Moto's (flip) phones with Crystal Talk gets A+ for voice quality, A3100 probably gets a B+ or a B, which is still "ok".
No Moto phone can be worse than my friend's SE bar phone and the almighty brand's 6300 (not sure about other of the same brand), where I can hardly hear what the other party is saying.
