awsome..i think world needs Moto to rock. The Koreans are just copycats and Rim and apple are only into smart phones, Htc seems to be a one hit wonder with Touch the only successful model.
Nokia needs SE and Moto to fire to keep them on their toes. If these two companies go under we will be left with very limited options either Nokia or chinese knock offs

:(Can you even tell the difference between a 65 K, 256 K, and 16 M color display from a first look? No, the color depth difference is not that noticeable by the naked eye. Remember that bigger is not better.

As you might (or not) remember I use my smartphone for work (translating) when I'm on the road. So I would like to know something more about the Word editor. A3100 should come with one, right ? Also, if you have ever used Word editor from doc2go on A1000, it would be nice to compare those two.

This phone looks promising. The thing is, I still can't get over how great my E8 is. I think I'll stay loyal to my E8 and just have this phone "next in line" some other time (maybe about 5 years from now).

The only thing is I'm too naive to navigate with Windows Mobile, and I'll probably need to wait for some "classes" available from the shop I purchased from (next month) to learn more how to better utilize the phone.
Though for other features, I can find out and tell you more...with my own unit.
Maybe I can learn a few tricks from you guys by "discovering" my phone as well.

This thing may not win against other touchscreen phones, but it wins my heart. The design, the features, the price, all perfectly planned by the Motorola R&D department.

do you know any information about new product mot... moreSorry, I don't have any "first hand" info on those unreleased phones.
I did bought an A3100 yesterday. Voice quality is "ok" at somewhere between B+/A- (vs. A+ for V9/K3). Reception isn't as good as others like Moto MaxxV3/V9 (again, V8/V9 are "kings" in terms of reception and voice quality)
Still testing other features as I'm blind in terms of Windows Mobile.

As long as you don't removed the card, the programs will function without problem. I even have SPB pocket plus installed inside my memory card and it runs without problem.

On board mem sucks not on level as bold new curve or the iphone sd mem only good for video photos or music. Nah the device mem determines what all apps u install
