This phone is really excellent with nice features. But unfortunately we find that the manual is not up to the mark. It doesn't explain how to connect to the computer and download pictures and video recorded. Any online manuals on the same may please be suggested to my mail id mentioned above or to amkm_rao@hotmail.com.
So far we couldnot download any photo from the set. We are not technical and hence we don't understand the terminology like GPRS other than itz definition. Hence please provide us with the information with which we will be able to download the photos and videos in to the computer.
In all other ways, the set is performing excellently. Thanks for releasing such a nice model.

Hi Everybody,
I find the motorola A760 excellent in all regards. Network coverage is excellent, the play back of files is excellent. what it lacks is the limited space in 8MB and the camera is not VGA. I guess now that motorola has more that one similar linux phones all over the world (A760, A768, E680) it would just be a matter of time before applications are available for it. the http://www.mymobilesoft.com/ has games for this cell but only avaiable in Taiwan, hong kong and singapore. I found a tetris game that works for this but using the keys and not the touch screen.
regards
Abhishek

The battery indicator is not reliable. After 2 days of usage, the indicator still showed 100%, suspecting amiss I tried recharging the battery. As I suspected, the indicator then showed the actual remaining power available while only charging and it was only 5% left. The another matter is, I am trying to source for the USB driver for Windows XP Pro. The USB drivers provided are only for Windows 2000 and below. In this case, I am not able to link to my PC for any downloading. The diskspace is also another problem, only 8MB. We need upgrades from Motorola, a good product should not have constraint on its important function especially the usefulness of space for a PDA phones.

The thing is I have read somewhere while surfing on net that motorola a760 also speak the time, but I can't find the option out there can u guys suggest me where to find this option, what I think that this phone by motorola is really cool, earlier I was planning to buy s.e. p900, but the phone was to much expensive n I was tired of using these old models keypad phone n when I have seen this phone I thought it's made for me, cause one can easily say that's it's value for money. I am from India n over here it's cost is only US 400$...
