Jaeick, what computer OS are you using. theme assistant can also work with IRDA connection if you can't make the datacable to work. when asked to insert the data cable try turning off/on the phone and/or removing/putting the datacable on.

Hi Selva. Unfortunately the media player that came with the A760 only supports 3gp video format. You need to convert your video files to 3gp before the phone can play it.

                Good day,

I am a Malaysian and just bought a new A760 phone. Was wondering if I could download MPG & AVI movies from my PC to my phone using the USB cable provided. Pls advice.

Motorola A760 is good for its shape, OS, and color but it should be produced with an expandable memory slot so that it's easy to store a large multimedia file.

I like smartphones designed like that, since I hate to write sms or emails using the annoying numeric keyboard of traditional phones, so the touchscreen makes my life much more easy. currently I have an A388, Im considering an upgrade to the A760 or A388c but its hard to find them in Brazil...

hi DaveM. i was able to add new categories under the contacts menu. just select the lower right menu bar, click on category setting, then click on the lower right menu bar with the + sign to add a new category.

hi kian. the phone supports pinyin and zhuyin input (handwriting or keyboard).

I've tried it yesterday. In general, the appearance and usability are good. The cons are:-
                                    - Not support external memory (only 9MB are accessible by user)
                                    - A bit slow in activating application (1-3 sec.)
                                    - Not support sync for Outlook calendar

The price in HK is about US$460 including a headset. Adding US$60, you will get the bluetooth headset.

Stupid design for PDA. It cannot synchronize with Outlook Calendar but only Notes, Task and Contact. How come the product is designed assuming that users do not need to sync his Calendar!

Hi all...for those of you who want to know the price...its advertised at approx $899 (US). Im in Australia and its anticipated that this phone will be launched at about 1400 AUD. Its a fantastic phone, even though the video streaming quality is not something I would write home about. Even though the it is a Linux based phone the UI is very simillar to that of the A388c but does offer a much better font support. The touch screen, bluetooth and the integrated camera are welcome upgrades from the a388c. Overall a classy phone. I'm getting one in three weeks...shipped in and so I had a bit of play with it before i decided to go ahead with it....a certain thumbs up!!
