Hi all,
from reading the specs and reviews, it seems the A780 is a very good phone but getting a bit old.
How is it compared to the v3i? I'm not that interested in stylish things, more on functionality.
I want to replace my mpx200 with a phone that's worth it. What's the best choice between these two? are there other phones I have to consider?
thanks in advance.

Sherry,
E is good. It is high speed internet at approx 200+kbps G is slower. I would go with one of the Moto headsets HSxxx. The voice command does the same thing to me. I never use it. but i tried with the included stereo headset and it works.

Hi all,
Ok Herm, I'm ready for your help. LOL. Just so you know what your up against, I dont know what Edge is, or what your all talkin about when you say PD. There is an E by the signal bar but no G. Should there be? I did actually get the thing to talk to me so I'm pretty proud of that. LOL. I just cant seem to get it to work the voice commands for me. It keeps asking me to repeat. I'd like to get the bluetooth earpiece but dont know which ones best. Do you have a recomendation? Thanks so much for your time.

Jeff,
It is Picsel viewer just for viewing documents no editing.
Phil,
First you must load voice recognition by holding the voice key on the left side for a few seconds. In setup there is an option for Voice Commands.

Hi all,
Some great info here about the A780 - thanks.
I've had the phone here in the UK for a couple of weeks and I love it. Can't seem to figure out how to setup/use the voice independent dialling I've seen mentioned here and on Motorola site? Any ideas?
My old Motorola needed voice tags attached to each number in memory but I can see this doesn't need this feature so how does it accept voice commands?
Regards
Phil

Sherry,
I have the phone for almost a month and I still figuring out stuff. So don't worry take your time once you get the phone we will help you.
Skeet,
I live in the ATL as well. I have cingular and the browser works great only thing I had to do was to configure the network settings as posted here.
Michael,
the Nokia looks pretty good. I guess any phone could break. I like the fact that the A780 is Quadband. I will count the 600 out. I don't like how it looks. But I feel your pain tough decision between the Nokia and the Moto. The both have unique feature I like the touch screen but it would be nice to have FM in addition to MP3. Good Luck!

Now everybody here is biased towards this phone but heres my question. I am stuck between 3 phones! This one is #1, so far, or Nokia 6260, and lastly Sony W600I. I really want a radio but mp3 is cool to. How expandable is the memory? I am a contractor and need a durable phone. Is this the one?
