hi guyz, m desparate to buy this phone. I visited Alfa stores in Irla, Mumbai. their price is 22,000/- wid bill n 1 yr warranty. the white body handset was on display n in shelf. they dont hav the black body handset (also learnt in reviews posted here that new lot manufactured is white color). a store besides alfa quoted same price bt said that cant insert battery n give a handson demo!!! gave some so calld reason. unfortunately coulnt get a demo @ either stores
itd b really helpful if anyone can clarify
1) is there any difference btwn black n white bodies in context of physical texture, surface etc?
2) any service centre in mumbai preferably arnd goregaon location?
3) is it android 2.3.5 or 2.3.6?
4) i checkd online bt still is there any silicone or better cover for it? if yes watd b the price range? any points to check before buyin cover like material (heating issues, rigidness,grip)
5) most importantly, THINGS TO CHECK @ COUNTER WHILE BUYING UR HANDSET?
i hope my questions arent silly. juz want to b sure while buyin bcuz lyk all 22,000 is a chunk of my earnings n i really wanna use this for long.

Hi all,
Thanks for the awesome review about this phone. I am planning to buy this device, but I am a guy who can't be satisfied with the stock firmware or can't wait Motorola to give the ICS update. I will try to install one of the custom firmwares available.
Will this void the warranty that Moto provides us?(Samsung calls it a liquid damage and voids the warranty)

hello, even i updated to latest version but i dint find the problem wat ur facing...but since the starting im facing unlock pattern problem when the phone is charging only....its not recognizing properly its nly wen charging remaining times it works perfectly well

Got this phone for 3 weeks now. Absolutely love it. Solid design and never encounterd a single random shutdown or hung.
HD display is fantastic when you play the free bundled HD game.
Battery is good as compare to my previous Samsung Galaxy ACE which gave me tons of problems.
Was actually considering to get Motorola or Samsung Galaxy 2, but fortuately made the right decision.
Value for a competitive price,as I paid only a nominal price when re-contract.

mantu, 15 May 2012hello all actually i am thinking to buy this phone but can... moreDon't know about battery back up? Got Atrix 2 as insurance replacement for Atrix. It has half the storage, is extremely slow, touch screen works about 2/3 of the time and part of that it opens something beside what you touch. It closes web pages on it's own and requires being powered off frequently to resume functioning. Battery doesn't last all day even if only used moderately.

Hi Friends, I started facing a new issue with this mobile phone, actually not me but my friends are facing this issue, most of the people complain me and they can't hear my voice loud. Initially I thought it could be n issue with my friend'd handset but 80% people have started complaining about the same then I was bound to think that it seems to be an issue with my handset.
Is there anybody else who is facing same kinna issue with his/her Atrix 2. Don't know what 2 do?

Regarding the Atrix2, I don't know how it compares to the Atrix 4G, but IMO it really is a superb phone (especially if you consider the price). I think it delivers about 80-90% the awesomeness one would expect from a Galaxy S2, and actually have a few advantages over the latter. Most notably, build quality.
However, if super strong encryption is a must for you, RiM is the master of its own art, and there is no real substitute for a Blackberry.
