Moto continues its use of "yesterday's" technology. An OEM not much more than a year ago that offered decent leading.edge tech now using prior generation cpu's and gpu's. For an OEM once known for building topline rugged sleek devices they've lost their edge and are going to find themselves relegated to a 2nd tier device mfg. Let's go Moto get back your reputation for cutting edge and start using topend latest greatest components. Good isn't a substitute for best of class. Give us a >1.2ghz duocore, IPS display, better gpu, and Android ICS soon please...oh..and both virtual and physical qwerty offerings and you'll be back on your way to s2/s3 competitiveness.
CONS: lack of >1ghz duocore. 2nd rate display specs including older gpu.

anyone know the physical dimensions of the phone yet? i love the size of the original and would love the improved screen, but was not crazy about the size of the GS2...i have small hands/fingers i guess...and from what else i read, they are downsizing the memory from 16GB to 8GB? tell me it's not true...

Why would they call it atrix 2 when its exactly the same specs as the old model (almost similar) Usually when you update a phone you make it at least twice as good.
I cant wait for that google deal to be over so they can release proper phones. Motorola is a good at making phones but fails at preety much everything else.

Atrix 2 my ass! Who motorola think they're fooling? Slightly bigger screen and 3 more mega pixel is not enough to call this a successor, not buying..

This motorola Atrix 2 is just like motorola Atrix 1 except for 8 mega pixel and even there is a reduction in internal storage to 8gig
