Now DOCKED can enable you to download and use Skype for video callling, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and if they can add a webcam om the laptop dock.
This will certainly replace a netbook. Without these, then it is nothing more but an un-necessary accessory.

wonder why this has only 8.8 on its performance rating when it is fater than any other phone (by FAR) and has one of the best screen.

nice phone but it's not true 4G phone cause it does not have LTE network bands,4G is also refereed to as 3G LTE and it's capable of 100mbps in downlink and 50mbps in uplink.i'll wait for nokia n9 with meego OS and st ericsson u8500 processor,it out performes Tegra2 :-) :-)

the Xoom tablet has a few feature not seen many other tablets, 4G capabilities and even a barometer.The barometer, which measures atmospheric pressure and can help forecast the weather.

with its best of CES 2011 Xoom tablet and impressive selection of 4G smartphone,Motorola had a very good CES,its atrix hanset won CNET's top award for the cellphone category,the Droid Bionic also packed a dual-core processor,and the Cliq 2 gave us a design twish we hadn't seen before.
But even with that show of force,moto really delivered with is laptop dock.though it doesn't make calls and it can't do anything by itself,it shows some innovation and creativy that none of Moto's wireles rivals brought to Las vegas.

the Atrix dock is pretty close to being a complete laptop,and it can use citricx's virtualization servis to access pc apps through the internet.....
Atrix is a potentially harmful development for wireless carriers,because while they're trying to push more data plans on their users laptops and tablets,the Atrix is the start of consolidation back to a single devices
Why get a 3G netbook if your smartphone's dumb shell perfoms almost all the same tasks?

Moto Atrix is an extremely sweet phone ,but the really interesting and newthing about it is the inclluded external docking station,which looks short of like a laptop, but it is actually the case, as you connect the phone to the docking station,it goes into a computer mode and turns on an interface for a destop operating system plus complete version of firefox, adobe-flash and other progamming.you can also dowmload pc applications just like on a regular computer.but instead on a regular computer getting and storing all that data,it will be saved to and powered by the atrix .you can even set it up to work with a television or other larger screen device.
