Battery is normal and even better tha... moreThe battery may be considered "normal" in reviews online, but in real use, it is average at best, which is not good if you can't replace the battery. I'm a Moto fan, but they should have put a bigger battery in this phone. The Moto RAZR XT910 and Droid RAZR ( not MAXX) have the same issue. This battery should have been at least as big as the Galaxy S3, which I believe is about 2100 mah. Even the HTC One X has a bigger battery and my friends that own one tell me the battery doesn't last long enough.

Battery should have been at least 3000 mah. Motorola should bring out Atrix HD Maxx just like Razr Maxx.

I tell you what batteries life is allways a problem so 2 solutions root your unit and install batterie calibrator. Second purchase a highter batterie rating from Mugen.this phone is really good especially with the krait processor.No doubt for
me motorola make very gud cp lately incredible quality! I am using atrix2 now and i can tell you its a fantastic cp! I cannot find fault with it. The best i ever had.In my opinion only HTC can compete with the incredible performance and quality of this phone!

Why Moto put a small battery in such a device and made it non replaceable baffles me. Using Atrix 4G for now. At least I can change that battery out if it gets low and I can't recharge.

bubu, 23 Aug 2012How is its screen compared to motorola droid Razr? Which ha... moreThis is the brightest screen on the market right now. And it is not pentile, as the RAZR and SIII, luckily. As well as the very high resolution. It's the best screen available in a phone today.
So it is much sharper, and better to use outside etc, but not the same black-level - if that's important to you. And it's a lot more powerful than the RAZR.

I have had the Atrix HD for 3 weeks and have had no issues at all. The battery life is average, however you can always find a way for more juice. Wish it had NFC and more memory. The camera pics are very clear but the colors are over saturated and can look funny sometimes. The screen is very good, very clear. Tests better in the various benchmark tests I've run (5084 with Quadrant standard). Very nice phone and it feels very good in the hands. Good design and the circle widgets are crazy sweet!!
