What's wrong if Motorola Aura similiar with Motorola V70. At least not copy from other brand like Nokia copied from Motorola. Hahaha... Look Nokia 8800 has too many similiarity between Nokia 8800. Also happened with Vertu. So boring.

For Nokia Fanboy or Motorola Haters.
Motorola Aura is Motorola Fashion Phone is not Motorola Functional Phone.
Motorola Aura totally focus to Fashion Phone / Stylish Phone.

Jelous people will give negative comments without fact. If you doesn't have Motorola Aura and you give negative comments; that's mean you jelous. Nokia Arte doesn't have what Motorola Aura have.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I do work hard for my money! "Posting negative comments won't earn you a dime" If i say something positve, i will make money??!!

Jealous you say! Of this ugly phone, You've got to be kidding! More like Shocked how this phone could cost 2000.00 dollars.

I have the n95 and it has more features and less then half the price of aura!

I'm sure rich people don't even admire this phone!

If you will send me money, I will lie and say positve things about this phone!

Motorola should make the Aura 3G capable as the Chinese Government will issue 3G license to providers within a month. China is such a big hand phone consumming market & Motorola should not miss this opportunity with such an excellent phone.

People from Mainland China do travel a lot & they like to show off their expensive phones (i.e. 8800 or Vertu), especially when travel aboard for business! This phone will not do them any good if they travel to say, Japan or korea?!

Anyway, from my own experience, a 3G phone's reception is always stronger then a compatable phone without it.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2008no 3g , no wi fi , no gps. Rich people might buy it if they... moreThe way that most people have multiple watches, rich people have multiple phones. You know a dress-to-impress watch with style and beauty such as a $10,000 Rolex, as well as watch you would wear when hiking, etc. The same goes for mobile phones.

Another thing is that this phone is so exclusive, it is made with its sapphire crystal face, 300 dpi industry exclusive round display, rotating swiss engineered opening mechanism whose workings you can see through a window at the back.... This mobile phone is built for high class and priced so that most of us cannot afford it.

A person who wants something so exclusive does not want everyone else to have it.

Did you notice the screen on it?, do you think a person who owns it would want to do GPS on it, or surf the web. It is not designed for that purpose. I can imagine someone at a cocktail party or in the back of their limo (their driver will have a GPS, a MOTO TN30 probably!), or at a fancy dinner and with people admiring the feel of it and the luscious unique screen.

I just placed an order for one, with a deposit of US$ 200 - 10% the price of the phone.

A few of the mobile phone sales went to the Motorola road show & came back quite impressed by the look & feel of this Aura. The material & build quality is good & the screen is amazing. I'll definately have my Aura delivered before Christmas.

                                  Thank you Moto, well done.

ps. Nokia is coming out with a limited "diamond version" of the 8800 Arte & the price will be around US$ 6,000. ... I doubt there will be too many people interested; as the look of the 8800 Arte is getting too common and boring with all those different versions around!

Mohammed Badran, 07 Dec 2008as an x employee of this great company, allow me to tell yo... moreIt sounds like sour grapes to me, are you an x employee by choice? It doesn't sound like it to me. I had a look at the phone at a show and it is exactly what I am looking for a small well made phone and that is pretty much it. I don't want thousands of different functionalities that I won't use, I simply want a phone. Well done Motorola.
