To Other brand fanboy. Don't think / says the price when want sell again will drop because the name of the first buyer will always in the phone. Motorola Aura is dedicated for design, exclusive, limited edition and rich people.

This phone is awesome. great desing, simple function and very light. may the other try to robbery u cuz is wonderful and shinning, but is the risk.

In such economic crisis, would it still make sense to offer plenty of high-end phones with hi-tech specs nowadays?
The Aura is targeted to those who can "spare" US$2000 for a phone, or a bag, or anything else, just like spending US$2 for most of us. These people are not likely be affected by the economic crisis, even though they may have lost millions in their stocks and stuff.

Well, Motorola going out from bussiness. They can't produce competetive phones at the moment. What to do?- just produce 2.5G phones using high branded materials on good, but not compatetive Linux platforms. I hope Motorola will back in to the market after 1-3 years again and will not do the same stupit mistakes.

NOKIA cannot make innovative design , what they can do is add Little more feature rename with with stupid name . I mean something like 1110 , 2340, 6750 ..... just a combination of stupid numbers,

Motorola make the first thin flip phone, that's Motorola V3 Razr. Many fanboy bashing Motorola but the fact is Motorola V3 Razr sold 100 million units for 3 years. Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and more brand copy the slim flip concept phone.
Motorola make the first swivel phone, that's Motorola V70. Many fanboy bashing Motorola but the fact is Sony Ericsson and more brand copy the swivel concept phone.
Motorola make the first dual open concept (can open horizontal or vertical), that's Motorola MPX300. Many fanboy bashing Motorola but the fact is Nokia, Samsung, and more brand copy the dual open concept phone.
Motorola make the first flip phone with big external screen, that's Motorola Razr 2 V8. Many fanboy bashing Motorola but the fact is Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and more brand copy the first flip phone with big external screen concept phone.
Now Motorola make and produce Motorola Aura with innovation and great built body. Many fanboy bashing Motorola. Let's we see other brand copy Motorola Aura Concept Phone.

Dont know how Moto manage to make these types of mobiles..!! But seriously, Moto truly ROCKS!! I appreciate the dreams of Moto. The designers are so challenging, they'v proved that Nothing Is Impossible today. The technology is moving further'n'further with an unstopable & unbreakable speed.
No matter how this mobile works or performs in functioning, coz the main challenge today is to make an unique kinda object that completely shows off, and Moto'v did it!!
.....Another step of moving life is completed by Motorola, but Guys n Galz dont think "that'z it", there are many more steps to take in this Life-Tech-Stairs, it's just a great start.....

NOKIA has features, but bulky bricks, most of them have he same look.
At least the thin,swivel concept was by Moto.

Though motorola comes with the unique design, it doesn't give importance to the feature aspect on a mobile phone, i appreciate motorola's work in a different direction, but all you motorola guys, make sure to have a moto to survive in this feature-rich world of mobiles!!

Someone doesn't know how to spell privilege. Anyway I would get this phone if it wasn't so thick. I mean 18.6mm is like a brick compared to most phones today. I am very picky when it comes to thickness. The high-end Nokia 8800 Arte is 16mm. Also not being able to sell these phones second hand is a great idea by Motorola to keep this phone exclusive to those who really want them.

omg, i fell very bad about motorola... in the past, they maybe could have success with these new phones... but, with all other brands, they have no chance... times ago, i knew many motorola owners, i also had v525, and e1000, and both of them were very good. now i have a LG and nokia. and last of my friends with motorola has replaced it today with samsung.

Motorola should have done their market survey before they launched the product. But as a phone fan, I can't see the type of people who would go for this kind of phone since the specs are lacking sooo much...
