umm... ijus wanted to know if anyone knows of there is a way that you can install bluetooth cause its an excellent phone but it doesn't have some features that are really important

its good phone for a photographer.
1>it has 4x zoom.
2>it has 6 diffrent shades of it.
but... but plz can any one tell me how can i trasfer pics on pc.tanks in advance.

i like the phone, but is there anyway that i can record a song and use it as my ringtone?
ive been sent some voice clips on picture messages and i would like to set them as my ringtone, and i have had NO LUCK!

Its a Great Phone!. I like the Camera Resolution is Exellent. But its a shame it does'nt have any connectivity to my PC (Atleast USB) I dont know where get new ringtones (Im from Dominican Republic''between Cuba and Puerto Rico'') Also I like the size of this handset wow! its really good! And this celphone got good features but doesnt have a CALENDAR. I give a 8.5 out of 10 for this Handset its very beautiful and good for my personal use. I Recommend this phone for ppl like me **Just Simple** thats why I have my V60i for along time cause I only needed to dial/recieved calls and send messages. PS: Humayun I noticed that you have the same problem like me. When I first saw the backlight went off and I got scared, but thats normal on the phone, so your phone is alright no need to worry.

my motorola c261 handset has bright display when backlight is on. but after the light off i cannot see anything on the on the display, it is quite dark. it is not possible to see whether my handset is on or off. pls give me solution if possible. is it natural for all motorola c261? or problem for my handset?

the memory is not 5MB it's probably 1 or 2

Motorola c261 is a good phone.i like it because...
1)it has large,bright,TFT-65k color LCD.
2)scratch proof body& keypads are large and easy to press buttons.
3)it has GPRS,MMS,WAP browser facility.
4)camera is VGA but camera quality is super and LCD resolution is wonderfull.
5)it has speakerphone & have photocaller facility.
6)moto gives you cable or PC componement along with c261 only at 3899 Rs. only..wow..

It's nice and cheap, but it's pretty hard to find any guides for the ringtone maker.. could have been nice with something like IR or Bluetooth to..

i was gonna get this phone but i have a few questions about it.
1. does it show the contact's name when they call you?
2. does it have real music ringtones?
3. is the phone slow when loading wallpapers, screensavers, messages, etc.?
4. can you hear the phone ring clearly when outside?
5. is the phone a good quality buy overall?

I bought this phone because I just liked it, but after it was a total disappointment as there was no organizer, NO CALENDAR, constantly see miss calls and never here it ring or vibrate, can't donwload anything on it, it's worse than my last phone which was heaven compared to this............

I agree the vibrate feature is very weak on the C261. I like the the red color and the speaker phone & camera. It would be nice if it had a calendar, bluetooth, MP3. Please e-mail me about any upgrades. I paid 85.00 and it should have the above three features I mentioned.

Bunnee, You have to ad a 1 and area code, or just an area code, or it won't display the name, because calls come in with an area code, regardless of location

i bought this cute little black thing coz i thought it would satisfy my need to have a simple phone, yet not "too simple". few days afterwards, it started to give disappointments, like the battery life aint last as it should, it takes a while just ti open the pictures, sms inbox and once i tried to change the wallpaper, it just went hang...gosh! the last motorola that really satisfied me was V60. this C261 dont have calendar and if you're quite a busy person needing to be reminded of what you're gonna do ahead..then forget buying this phone!
