During the install of MPT 3.11, you might get 2 error messages, just ignore them and finish the installation.
that's what i did and it works fine.

              to gib:
you must use pst to enable java on your phone, after that in setings>java will apear the java app loader.
you must have usb driver instaled, pst 6.7 (and patch 6.7 files copy in istaled directory), run pst, new kjava, read phone, enable java on phone.
              run MIDway 2.8.

all this software is downloadable here:
              http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/

                    to Claw:

                    1). Power up the Phone.
                    2). Click Menu->Settings->Java Settings->Java App Loader.
3). It shows a Dialog on the screen "Insert Cable Now"
                    4). Insert USB Cable.
5). The phone should display "Jal Link is active."
                    6). Run MIDway 2.8.

From now you just need jad and jar files, you can find games here:

                    http://media.motofan.ru/java/fjava001.htm

and search with google for c650, v220 games cause they can play on c385/380.
i have nokia games that play on motorola to :)

if you check motorola's home page, at c385 fun features, you'll see that the phone has Video Playback, but you'll also see that Phone content may vary by region and operator.
i couldn't find c385 soft, just c380 on some rusian sites, where i don't understand the language but i guessed it could be the c380 soft.

sorry man, i used pst 6.7 general and the patch, and it worked from the first one, i enabled the Java App Loader, and that's it.
If mobile tools find your phone maybe the Pst has some erors, try to reinstal, if you use PST 7.1.1, try with 6.7 and the patch, cause that's what i used and worked for me.

u can get ur USB cable from any pc shop.look for mini USB cable.i think it would cost around RM 20+.do not be a fool and buy the original cable and software from motorola because it is darn expensive and does not worth the price. after u got ur cable follow the links given in this forum, download the drivers and the manager and u can start uploading stuff on to ur phone.

hey dude, c380 does support chinese character.unlike nokia or samsung, u do not have to change the phone language in order to use chinese characters.in Message, press Menu,go to Entry Setup, choose either primary or secondary setup.from there u can find Pin Yin or stroke sequence which writes chinese characters.

btw, in Multimedia, does ur phone has Movies? i guess the model selling in Asia does not have.

for those of you who wants the driver:

                                        1) download and install PST 7.1.1 from http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/

                                        2) go to your windows device manager and update your C380 driver. when asked to browse for driver, just go to PST folder and select one of the USB****.inf files. i think i used USB2000****.inf

your phone should be installed as a motorola modem in windows now. and you can install phonetools to meddle with your phone. :)
