i bought this phone 4 months ago and it works superbly well (yet). however, every phones has its own good and bad sides. for me its fair enough coz i cant expect more from a phone that cheap. it beat all nokia phones on that class and price range. its the best cheap phone ever!!!!!!
buy one and let me know if you disappointed then.

hi! what is the maximum size for a java application that this phone can support.
i read a post that says it supports up 180kb java games. i have downloaded an application that converts a text file into an ebook (jar application). average size of this jar file is 1mb. so do you think its possible to use this jar file in this phone.
                  thanks

                        Hi
Can I manage my phonebook using the usb cable and the PC? Can I upload or download contacts? Is it possible to synchronize with other phonebook, e.g. sony-ericsson? 10x in advance!!!

To Kastog-actually, the only reason Nokia is still selling phones is because of their user interface...theirs is still the easiest to use but the other brands are catching up quickly...and the don't make the best phones, FYI...they have made some of the worst in fact. ^_^x

Motorola can playback MP3, yes. Since am a semi-techie guy, I see to it that the features of my Motorola C650 is put into optimum use. The wallpapers, screensavers, and ringtones of my phones are all customized. I created all these in my computer and downloaded it to my phone using the USB cable. The downside however, is that Motorola has only 1.7MB for its multimedia space (i.e. pictures, sounds, videos). So you have to decide how much you need sound, video, or image files on your cell phone.

For my ringtones, I use mp3s of my favorite songs which I personally make (clipped to size enough for a ringtone) for my phone, such as U2's Vertigo, UB40's Maybe Tomorrow, etc. Polyphonic ringtone is like midi and seems like everybody's phone nowadays plays it so I make my phone different from others by playing mp3 instead of polyphonic for its ringtone. So instead of instrumental or polyphonic chords you hear, real song complete with vocals will play.

You should see to it also that you have enough load or credit and/or fully-charged battery to be able to send MMS or browse the web or chat. Checking your emails from Yahoo or Hotmail is handy when you're away from office, however costly.

Another downside is its battery life which only lasts one day if use the camera frequently and/or having a conversation, or use multimedia like playing video, music or games.

Overall, Motorola C650 is a better choice among other brands in its class with camera. Even better than most Nokia phones without camera whose price is more expensive.
