Last posting by me.. heheh..
Round up of this phone
Positives.
+Can play mp3s with an acceptable quality.
+Can play games up to 180kb (advertised to support games up to 100kb) but these 180kb games dont fit the screen.
+Can play midis to a decent quality
Negatives
-What manaufacturer makes people pay for the drivers if they forgot to put it in the box in the first place. Its like u buy a pda and they go oh.. drivers are not included.. WTF...
-Battery is way weak.. If u use it as a phone its ok.. but if u want to play games and listen to songs.. U have to charge it 1-2 a day
-The phone gets hot after u use it for about 30 minutes playing games or listening to midis
-Damn dusty.. Its like a dust magnet.. U have to leave the dust protectors on otherwise the tiny holes in the phone will trap dust like crazy..
-Damn tiny screen.. and the v300/e398 with a larger screen is much more pricy
I've tried about 30 games in which the screen is too small for the game..
-Damn dumb status bar.. Even quite a few games made for the moto and not specifically for the c650 will have the goddamn status bar in the way... and the game is pushed off the screen a little.. Although there are ways around it.. But it involves decompiles the jar file adding a line to the java code... and recompiling using the moto sdk(obtaining this requires u do register as a moto game designer).. All this involves lots of time... and people have better things to do and lack the experience.
-Continuing from the above line.. It does not support games made my most other manufactures... 95% of them will not run. And result in an application error.
-Requires Jar and Jad files to upload files.
-Small memory.. and having undeletable files such 2X moto mp3s and a little movie. These can be removed but it is time consuming and risky as it may cause ur phone to stop functioning.. as some midis such as the alert, etc are required by the phone system.
Neutral observations..
*Screen is hard to see when backlight is off. In very strong daylight the backlight makes no diffeerence. However phones like the t610 which is the same price.. U cannot see the screen at all in daylight.

supposedly some phone now ship with the cable.. I dont know if this would add anything to the price.. But any generic 5 pin mini-usb port.. Like the ones on the mini cameras will work.. (Note some cameras have a 4 pim mini-usb cable)

Here something to get u started...
http://www.downseek.com/download/29308.asp
U will need MPT 3.11 or later for the c650.. if u did not get a cd from ur disk, although 2.16 is supposed to work..
uploading games require PST tools and midway... PST to unlock the upload function and midway to upload
Thats all...
Visit the forum mentioned earlier for links.. I am to lazy to post it again..

- Thanks all about the

just do a google search for c650 drivers in google and u should find them. they are about 100kb...
Visit mobile9.com for more info of how to download and upload games to ur moto phone.. because the USB cable works.. and uploading games works... but nobody says they would make it easy for u.. Man this phone is a nightmare.. u have to be very techy to use the full features of this phone.. Setting up this phone to work with my computer was as hard as setting up my home networks..
U can read the moto threads for free.. But to download any stuff u will require a free registration..

yes, the screen saver is supposed to freeze before the screen turns off (that is when you have the display time-out on)
