Defy and Defy+ are sleepers, the original software from motorola is full of bloat, but as soon as you root it and update it with a custom rom like Cyanogen or MIUI turns into an amazing phone for the price.

When I bought it it hanged a lot but then I performed a stock recovery and since then it works fantastic. (This is how you perform a recovery: Turn off your phone and boot it while holding the volume down button. You should get into the stock recovery. Now press both volume up and down together. Navigate using the volume buttons and use power to select an option. Clear cache and reboot. See if it's better. )

I have a big expectation, but i get a lot of disapoint. Phone is slow, material cheap, moto-blur is worst sense in the market. When you look performance on the paper is ok or great but on hand is very bad. I had have wildfire s before them, but is much better phone. i write this, because i wish you, that you ll get phone, thats ok and no problem, thanks

I bought MOTOROLA DEFY PLUS last week. I am very much happy with this phone.It has lot of amazing features with moderate price(13-14k).
1)Display size:480 x 854 pixels, 3.7 inches (~265 ppi pixel density)High resolution display.
2)Processor:TI OMAP 3620 processor with 1 GHz speed, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM i.e faster enough.(I didn't much play games )But i played some without any stuck.(Lanesplitter etc)
3)Camera: 5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash. Picture quality is really awesome.
4)Sound quality is good.
5) Screen with smoother touch sensation 6)Motoblur motorola application(It keeps track of all you social networks) 7)Mobile hot spot(Wi-fi feature) 8) Scratch as well as water resistant(I din't try) and dust proof. 9) Good music player as well as video player.(While music is playing if you want to play fm,you no need to go long back.Direct application interfaces are available below a display from just one step back)
10) Battery back up is OK. Noramally one and half day.
Some negative feedbacks:
1)OS is not upgradable.It comes with android version 2.3.6(Gingerbread). I heard that still you can root it to higher version
2)While downloading a file it get heat to some extent(I think it happens with almost all smartphones).
3)Width is little more.
Except some of these features this phone is more than good enough in that price.
Really worth buying!!!! :) MOTOROLA SIMPLY ROCKS!!!!

Have been using for 6 months. Worth it. Fast and smooth.
Currently running on jellybean custom rom. Love it,.. Dont think twice to buy it,. Have dropped it many a times with screen facing the ground, nothing happened. have dipped in water also.

Motorola defy+ Always rocks... it is one of the best phone i have ever used in Android till now in terms of Battery Backup,Speed and the MotoUI gadgets.. i have never faced any problem till now since i started using from 6 months.. in this price range this phone is awesome with water and dust proof that really works wonderful which no other co. have... Thanks Moto... Keep ROCKING...

It's a very good phone, I'm using it for some mounths and no problems- I dropped it few times but nothing hapened, works fast, have everything I need, nice interface etc. :)

Im willing to purchase Motorola Defy+... I have heard that Moto! it is closing it's sales in India... If so then wil ther be service provided by the moto service stations ?? and wat bout the performance and it's drawbacks...
