I have a DEFT with CM7 installed and overclocked at 1.2GHz for 2 months now and everything is working perfectly. Battery life 2 to 3 days with the help of JuiceDefender btw.
Why Motorola is releasing this "updated" version of the DEFY is beyond my imagination. Would have loved a bigger screen to be sincere, that would have made my day no doubt.

No big improvemnts over the DEFY, Just a 1GB ROM and 1GHz processor... In this dual core processor time,motorola releasing a refurbished version of the old... pathetic move by motorola...

Why motorola only update defy? They are the same specs, only the cpu overclocked and gingerbread...i prefer buy a defy and install a cm7 rom with gingerbread and overclock -.-

It's like buying a Defy and do overclock!... this it is ok for new costumers. but for defy users, it's just a Joke, give me 2.3 to defy and i will overclock it.

I own a defy, it is the best phone available in the market....motorola probably felt the product shelf life for Defy is worthy of an extention(considering their delay in froyo update)...hence this defy +
